I’m pissed that he died *1 DAY* before his musical premiered. It’s not fair, he deserved to see it.

This movie inspired me to such a deep level and brought be to tears. It really means a lot to see someone’s story, and not just the good parts. Aretha Franklin’s movie RESPECT had the same effect on me. Johnathan Larson was an amazing person, I’m glad his story is being shared.

Such a deep and avoidable loss…I have a condition adjacent to the one that caused his aortic aneurysm, and on top of the hospitals missing it in the acute phase, it could’ve also been headed off if someone had noticed that he obviously had Marfanoid habitus. It makes me so sad whenever I think of how his life was cut so short, and how much more he could’ve given to the world 😭

Kinda had a goosebump knowing that Stephen Sondheim might've been able to watch tick tick boom before he died, i guess?

Stephen Sondheim and Jonathan Larson were actually much closer in real life than how they were depicted in the movie; they already knew each other for years before the Superbia workshop

Done watching tick tick boom. There's something in the movie that makes me realize that always follow your dreams or what makes you happy, live your life to the fullest!. All of our hardships, disappointment and frustration will all be worth it in the end. You just gotta believe you can make it:)
