H. M. You could hear her in him. He speaks the same way. So poetically and emphatically. I love it! She passed on her love, grace, and grateful heart to him. Who else would be thankful instead of bitter. Of course it hurts and they can’t forget, but what strength to forgive. I can’t even begin to imagine.

Korey got the worst Treatment and he wasn't even in the park that night. This is why his name wasn't on the list. I couldn't watch the episode about korey without breaking down. I have nothing but, dislike for yusaaf's Mom. She had no care in the world for korey, the Friend that accompanied her son, so he wouldn't be alone. She went and got her son and left korey there. She didn't have the decency to contact koreys mom. Korey's mom had no idea where he was. That is Tragic

I just watched the Netflix movie When They See Us and I'm very emotional the way that Korey Wise was treated. My heart goes out to all 5 of them. Nypd is and have always been corrupted. All who was involved convicting 5 boys!!! Should pay and the correction officers who abuse their authority should be dead!!! I'm so glad they are all free✊🏽 God bless. They would've never convicted 5 little white boys!!! There will always be racism and that shit is sad. I am a mother of 5 African American Children!!! My son just graduated with his associate's in criminal justice✊🏽 He will be back in school end of this coming August to receive his bachelor's degree in forensic psychology🙌🏽 My sons was all born with 2 strikes as they entered this world. @@brianichole That is a cult-like way of thinking. Religion is rooted in cult-like practices. God isnt a person, sista. God isn't a he or she and God certainly isnt the white man we were told is our savior therefore, you shouldn't reduce God to a man who'll throw a tantrum because you dont believe "he" is always on time. 🙄 The saying IS stupid and DECEIVING. It's just a cliche your pastor tells you in order to frighten you into keeping faith in a mythical creature you dont ever hear, see, or touch. And likewise, keep tithing. What happened to Korey didnt have SHIT to do with God..maybe the God of evil, but not the God of love. Korey and the other four boys were victimized by a system of oppression long established by white folks hate and fear of black folks.

I wonder if NAN members went to visit or write letters? I know we were only shown 70% of what took place but were these organization members supportive of the Wise family? Hmmm.. thankfully by God's grace he made it through

So sad on all fronts. My heart breaks for her. The pain this mother endured and her son Kharey. It's obvious this broke her emotionally. A traumatic event as this is unconscionable . "Kharey suffered the worst. He left at age 16 and returned at age 30 years old having endured the unthinkable in those prisons. I can't imagine what he was like when he came home. Makes me cry heavy tears just so sad. God watched over the two of them although the road wasn't easy.

Isaiah 45:7 - God is good and evil according to his own words. Why do people choose not to read for themselves, and only choose to follow church hood promotions of false hood and lies, which is a reflection of the God that they serve? Black people take part in everthing that keeps them held in ignorance. God is your government (Isaiah 33:22).

The same powerful people who put them in prison, was another of the same group who took them out of hell/jail. God is Power, Authority, and supreme beings that control worldy affairs. Dont believe me, and look up the word God definitions. Remove the dogma out of your own mind, and find the truth. Or continue to follow religious myth. You were given a choice to wake up and seek the truth, or pretend it doesnt exist.

A relative of the Wise family stated that although they were grateful for Ava Duvernay telling the boys' story, they said that Ms. Dolores was not portrayed accurately. In fact she did visit quite often to where Korey asked her not to come, especially during bad weather but she would still come. She also frequently sent care packages that made Korey a target in prison. They also didn't agree with portraying her as a single mother when Korey's dad was always there, in the home until he died in 96. The relationship with the transgendered daughter was misrepresented as well .

“IT AN’t OVER!” It’ll never be over! I prey that each and everyone involved in taking these children’s youth and charging them for a crime they they did not commit, will suffer the same severity of pain, embarrassment, and suffering that this children went through. It’s been 30 years, but I believe justice is on it’s way for these bottom of the barrel, scumbags who did this to these kids. F’king dirtbags!

It kinda seemed like they were friends so I see what your saying but no they all went to the park with other friends but they were being interrogated in the next room and on trial in the court room together. I'm sure the parents got close because they were trying to figure it out and get lawyers. They became friends when they got out. But Korey and Yusef knew each other. On wikipedia it said 4 of them lived in the same affordable housing projects so maybe they knew each other from the neighborhood or school.
