That laying on the side and lifting legs was a killer. Im just starting and was surprised to see what a work out this really was! Thank you for the video, it was really great and so was the narration.

I’m struggling with doing the moves idk how I’m suppose to do them. I’m kinda getting frustrated but I’m trying not to. Edit: 26 minutes later after I finished the video, it was very fun and calming the problem I had was constantly getting out of positions to see what Nicole was doing so I can adjust other than that it was very nice, Thank you Nicole!

I’m struggling with PCOS and regular workouts always worsened my symptoms. The cortisol spike always felt like a panic attack and gave me imbalanced blood sugar and it was hard to lose weight. I’ve been following your “gentle” pilates videos for about 2 weeks and I never felt this relaxed and at peace after a workout. The feeling of being connected to my core and my body gives me a high. Thank you!💗

I used to be an absolute athlete and after some years of bad dieting and a few injuries, I stopped being so active. May I know which of Nicole's videos you use? I also have joint pain and my shoulders are a bit stiff. My physical therapist told me to be consistent with exercise.

@@eatsburrito I use all the different styles - pilates, yoga, HIIT, barre. For me, this variation of workout is so good! I find her playlists according to style, duration and focus very helpful. Have you checked out the Upper Body playlist? The Barre videos also have some wide arm movements that might help "soften" the shoulders. Hope you find what works for you 🧡 wish you all the best! 🌻

When doing those arm exercises, you said, "You can do it", and I actually cried out, "No, I can't do it!" but I stuck with it, thanks to your words, Nicole. Used to do pilates and other exercises 6 days a week for years, then life got in the way and I've been going months at a time without really moving my body more than a hike or walk... this workout was gentle enough that I didn't feel discouraged yet burned enough that I remembered all the reasons I loved exercise in the first place. thank you!! :)

I would just like to say thank you! I have been working out alongside this video 5 nights a week for a month now and am actually noticing in daily life how much my muscles have grown! I feel strong, I have a spring in my step! My legs are much more toned now and it’s so much easier to chase my toddler around all day!!

This video really helped me understand the foundations of pilates so much better and connect to my deep core/pelvic floor. The arm workout/shoulder portion is a posture game changer too. so perfect for beginners. I felt amazing afterwards. Def my new go-to pilates workout until I work up some strength and form for more intensity!

I had major abdominal surgery and have been under weight and weak for a few years now. Nicole’s different routines have helped me get my body strength back and without too much stress on my body. She’s awesome. 😊

I've tried so many different in person and online classes that work well with my chronic illness, and Nicole's are the ones I always come back to. She does such a good job at explaining every single movement, the pace is always on point and as gentle as her workouts seem, I always feel the intense burn. I’ve been doing your pilates since 2019. This is the best way for me to workout. I’ve done cardio (which I love) HITT workouts, basically a little bit of everything, but I’ve lost the most weight and gained most muscle with your workouts, I’ve improved my posture, and so much more. I have been doing Pilates for one year now but still this video serves so much in improving my technique and even the basic felt challenging yet rewarding ❤❤❤ thank you so much Nicole. One suggestion, pls explain the technique to do the roll ups without having to move the legs or with a jerk.

So, I just recently started my Pilates journey because I realized just how stiff and out of shape I was becoming, plus other health issues have really set me on a more mindful path. Day 3 of doing Pilates and it blows my mind at how I can just smile and feel giddy and overly happy at the end of each days session (i try to do two sessions, one is the strict stretching) and it feels absolutely amazing. I can already feel certain parts of my body becoming slightly more flexible and things that were a bit rough on day one are becoming easier and more enjoyable on day 3. So with all of that said, thank you! Seriously, these videos are so amazing and I love how professional they feel, yet they're relaxing and energizing at the same time. Also, THANK YOU for doing voice over, haha. It is such a wonderful addition to any sort of workout/wellness body content

Thank you so much for another beginner workout! I found out that I get way better growth when adding beginner workouts in between harder ones. Just something about doing everything calmly and feeling a lot of strength is so beneficial. And great for clearing up my mind!

Your clear, detailed guidance has helped this 62 y/o beginner who is trying to rehab a low back injury to actually do a daily mat class!! Since I have chronic wrist injury, I have to avoid being on “all fours”. I’m likely not alone in needing more beginner classes that are adaptive for those with wrist limitations. I've been doing your classes for 3 years Nicole but this explained many of the basics (like the t-zone) so clearly that it finally sunk in for me. I've been doing your videos for year and this was so perfect! Not only for basic Pilates techniques but also because I am in my cycle where I am feeling flat and not a lot of energy, so this was the perfect workout !

Your cueing is the best I've ever experienced and connects me with my body like no other instructor has been able to do before. These beginner pilates videos are the only workouts I can do with my chronic illnesses, and I am beyond grateful that you provide your community with these videos for free. My first ever finished pilates workout! As an obese person it's scary to start working out because the feeling of failure is too big. I tried pilates many times before and I gave up every time after less then 10 minutes, but today I did full 30 minutes! Thank you so much ❤

I've been going to pt for months due to my pelvic floor and I've never fully understood what I was supposed to be doing. The description of the T zone and reminders to keep activating was more helpful than anything I've gleaned from physio. Thank you so much

i think she explains it in her other videos as imaging a tight string connecting your belly button to your spine, not allowing that string to expand or something, basically reinforcing that tight string. that really helped me understand it a little better.
