Really great workout and very challenging for 31 weeks pregnant. I enjoy your other pregnancy videos where you ensure you mention no twisting of the core and keeping heart rate in an optimal range. Disappointed that this has pregnancy workout in the title but provides little specifically pregnancy safe modifications.

@@nourishmovelove I have to agree with Amy Lloyd. 31 weeks here. While this was a decent workout, going through it I felt like it would be better to stick to your workouts where I don't have to make the modifications or spend a few moves figuring out what I can or can't do. I already know I can't do regular push ups, or planks, etc. b/c of DR but that takes away from getting the whole body when I have to stop and figure out what I can do to still get that intensity. Don't know if this feedback is that helpful. You do put out some great pregnancy workouts that have made a huge diff for me on this go-around.

I had to stop to reset a few times! I loved your explanations in this video! I had wondered what tucking the tailbone meant - the visual explanation you gave was so helpful!! @@arozsa-h57 I did workouts throughout each trimester, I would say ease into it if you haven't been active prior to pregnancy, but if you've already been exercising before pregnancy it is generally considered safe to continue in pregnancy. You can always clear it with your doctor. My doctors were delighted I was continuing to exercise and it keeps mom and baby healthy.

Starting off 26 weeks with this kick butt workout today. Even with prenatal modifications (table top instead of plank and TA marches during the core work) it was still a kick butt heart rate pumping workout!

Oh my gosh. I am 10 weeks tomorrow and have been really trying to keep up my fitness. What a struggle as this is an IVF baby, so in the first month I had to abstain from cardio and weights and then try to get back into workouts when cleared at 4 weeks along. I have been super nauseated and exhausted and I know theoretically the first trimester is the "easiest" to work out in, but gosh it's hard! Anyway, thank you for the challenge. I have been using your videos a lot and hope to enjoy them more once I hit the second trimester and hopefully have fewer symptoms!

This was fantastic, but for your prenatal mamas, I think the modifications should be clearer, maybe with a pregnant momma with you? This is my fourth baby so I knew when to modify (for me jumping and core work at the end seemed iffy), but for first time moms, it may be a problem. Thanks for a great workout! It's hard to find good prenatal cardio videos, since running feels weird for me at this point.

Love this workout! First found it when I was postpartum and now am in my 2nd trimester with baby #2. Wondering if there are any specific modifications for the core work? My prenatal yoga instructor advised against boat pose and twists, so wanted to check in about those moves since I didn't see modifications offered. I did enjoy this workout, however I did find it a bit too busy for me as I’m 28 weeks pregnant and found the energy was too much even with me modifying the moves. I will definitely be coming back to this workout postpartum as I can see myself enjoying it much more but for entering my third trimester, it really wasn’t for me. Maybe for those in 1st and half way through second but not beyond.

Great question! Every body + postpartum journey is different, so I recommend chatting with your doctor or midwife to get cleared for exercise! I personally started adding low impact workouts like this one back in to my routine 1-2 days a week at about 6 weeks postpartum. I hope that helps!
