Yes, there were a lot of squid caught that weekend around SA from looking at all the posts on various local FB fishing groups. We shared some of the catch and have some more in the freezer to enjoy!

Just seen one of your videos and you speak of fishing and mental health. My 27yo son suffers anxiety but we have never been able to get him to talk to anyone about it.i think at his age he feels it embarrassing but he says when he is anywhere fishing by himself it calms him right down and he says its the one major thing that relaxes him. I've never been a keen fisherman I wish he could do a trip like you do.thanks for your videos

There is no need to be embarrassed about mental health. He'll be surprised if he starts talking about it how open people are. Talking about it and being vulnerable is a strength, not weakness. The first step is to see Dr. and get a mental health plan. But yes, fishing is a great outlet for my anxiety, too.

Good video mate, my all time favourite spot, I used to drive over from Clare if tides were good and fish those rocks, had some good catches, and also my favourite land based snapper spot

No I haven't... to be honest I'm not a big garfish fan. Unless they are massive I think they aren't really worth it.

1.5 - 2m... Wasn't specifically measured... But if you look at the length of the line when I cast that gives you an idea. As I had a swivel at the top... Hope you enjoyed it!

I find that squid jigs only have a life expectancy of 1 or 2 years before the squid stop taking them!
