Over the pandemic I lost 60 lbs!! I have been able to declutter pretty much everything & thrift new replacement pieces. I have had to go to the office all through the lockdowns (and just work behind locked doors) my dress code remains the same (professional).

Disposing of meds in surface water laces the water with those meds. In my country we bring meds back to the store where we got them. They dispose of them environmentally safe.

I think that's a good point that it probably depends greatly on the country and how the water is treated. The article I showed is for the FDA in the US.

"Only flush those medicines that are on a 'flush list'". I just had to find and watch that video. Medicine disposal seems really wild in US 😳. In my country all unused medicin is taken back to where you bought it.

You should NEVER have any remaining antibiotics, because if you don’t take ALL of it exactly as prescribed, the infection can come back and be worse, and it can also become resistant to that antibiotic. FYI: Antibiotics are still good 10 years after expiration date. I keep all my prescription meds until they have changed color or begin to break down.

When the kids were in school and brought home so many pens in the spring, before the next year started I sat down with these pens, testing them, and separated them into blue/black/red containers. That way when they needed a certain color, we knew where the separate colors were, and where to find them.

You've seen the show Hoarders, I'm guessing. I'm not at that point. I'm just trying to wrap my brain around the first step I need to make to declutter and minimalize. Actually have a book on minimalism that I haven't even open the first page. That should give people an idea of what the 18 months of lockdown is done for me. I'm happy that some people lost weight and decluttered but everything when we went the opposite direction when it came to clutter. Are all pretty much understand exactly why I got all the things I did.

Maybe sequester the items and if you don't refer to them after a specific time, toss. From my experience, I kept all my books and notes through three moves. After 20 years, and not looking at any of it, I finally tossed it all last year.

What is the very first steps I need to take to minimalize and you must understand that these books I have our books that I indeed would use but it's not just books because there's all sorts of other things that have just become clutter. I don't want the end up like the people on Hoarders. Most of the books and other things that I bought are in boxes but they're just stacked up all over the place. I want someone to help me with advice on how to start with a minimal ization and what exactly is minimalism? It means different things to different people I understand. Who here knows of fengshui? So I've got lots of clutter that I've just accumulated over the last 18 months during this virus where do I start and what do I need to do and if there's a video on here that speak specifically about minimalism for beginning dummies that would be great LOL thank you guys very much and I'm sorry so many messages just want people to read them and kind of give me some advice if they can sense I don't like all this clutter. Thanks so much for your Channel. I'm going to check down in the comments and see if anyone mentions how they minimalized or decluttered. And if fengshui is a real thing
@MiaDanielle
@MiaDanielle 2 жыл бұрын
As far as Feng Shui goes, it's really based on eastern principles and Chinese culture. I would say it's a blend of logic and superstition.
