For tip about quickcast blink-dagger range. Just setting up quickcast makes it so pressing a button makes the range show, but only after I release it it blinks me here. Means I can use quickcast, and see the range of different spells. There is an opion that makes quickast act upon press, not release, so you probably have that on.

Pudge hook does give you back the mana spent if you hook a rune, regardless of soulring

It does, but you usually lose the mana from soul ring right? So if you hook a rune with the soul ring bonus mana on, you actually get refunded the bonus mana. This leaves you with MORE mana than you had before (rather than just giving back what you used).
