How this cartridge continues to fly under the radar is beyond me. It's effective, accurate, and deadly on deer-sized game at decent distances. Cases may be easily converted from .223/5.56 brass and .30 caliber bullets are readily available from all bullet manufacturers, so it's perfect for hand loaders. Feeds flawlessly in the AR15 platform using 300 BO magazines. Uses a .223/5.56 bolt, too. It's pretty much the perfect cartridge for hunting with the AR15. All of this, and yet oddly there is a dearth of recent YT videos on it. I get that the choice for commercial ammo is pretty much just Wilson Combat, but as I said, if you hand load, the availability and options are virtually limitless.

Morning Norman! It is a Linear Compensator. I have a bunch of these. I have had some rough things occur to me and the concussive blast of some comps badly affect me. These linear Comps curb that big time and I like them allot! Plus on some short bbls, that look great!

@@JCJustice-kv2gy Quite allot actually! The HAM'r isn't a sub sonic round at all. It's designed for 110-150g bullets at super sonic velocities from a AR. It more than duplicates 3p/30 Ballistics. It does what the 30/30 CLAIMS to do.

@@cw2a I am right now watching a youtube about a snake fancier that kept highly venomous snakes and free handled them. On one youtube he is free handling an inland taipan and the next day there are frantic requests for anti-taipan venom for him. He got kidney failure and last I heard was still hanging on. The few zoos that had it in the states would not give him a drop of it because he was always free handling such dangerous and using profanity against anyone that said it was not a good ideal. The Zoos and labs had small amounts for their workers in case of a bite were not going to give to such a person. Now he had done it for 40 yrs and eventually his luck ran out. The snake community, many that were odds with him did get together and managed to get him some anti-venom The point is the more you do something risky, the more likely you are to have your luck run out. The 300 HAM'r is a 1:15 twist. It has difficulty stabilizing bullets longer than a 150g. I tried 160 FTX and saw iffy accuracy.
