I agree. It's 100% honest in it's delivery, and not overproduced. You and Chase both admit when you aren't sure about how to do something and figure it out in the course of an episode or two. Keep it up man!

This video series, inspired me to work on my first gen Pathfinder. All that's left on it, is the hood, rear bumper, exhaust and diagnosing a tapping sound that I'm not entirely sure where it's coming from, but that's why it helps to have friends that can help with that.

The three screws you took out from the control module were probably holding some semiconductors to the aluminium heatsink, and those often need to be isolated with mylar sheets or plastic washers. I have no clue about car electronics and ignition stuff, but I guess if at some point you have weird electrical problems you'll need to take a look inside that housing. The backing plate is probably just glued on to prevent water ingress.

OMG, you just gave me a flash back to my 80's high school years. my friend would take his mom's TOYOTA COROLLA WAGON ,it was white, and we would blast it around the neighborhood. LOL But one day his cousin says, hey you wanna see something cool, and starts messing with the distributor, making it backfire. of coarse that was cool as ever for us tenth graders. till he did it one day and died and had to push back to his house and act like nothing ever happen. god we were terrible kids back then. the neighbor told on us and boy did my friend get in trouble. I had nothing to do with it but man I felt bad for her. I think it was fairly new. wow. I had forgotten all about that till now.
