Random question: how did you manage to be featured in the movie? (ie the guitar playing scene in the retirement home). Was that something you proposed to the film producers, or did they always plan on including you in a scene?

I am certain you still have a great ability to sell. Glad you have found things that you are more interested in. It could be worth proposing a new movie called "War Dogs II" about Biden's new wars in Ukraine+Russia, Israel, and soon to be Yemen, and potentially China. Only thing is it would likely take you back into that environment...

If it has no effect on the ad revenue why don’t you guys just do all the ads at once. Every podcast I have listened to has all their ads back to back and you either watch it or skip it. If it has no impact on the amount of money you get, you guys should consider it. However I don’t think it’s a huge deal just a pain to get taken out of the podcast all of a sudden. Efraim has a book called Once A Gunrunner. He tells his side plus his story growing up, but this interview was pretty well done, especially this “part’s equivalent” portion, something that stood out in his book, about knight’s armament’s gun tail system. Honestly though, most of the book was him flaunting, wearing suits and smoking parliaments 🤣

His explanation on cost plus is wrong. Theres an estimated cost up front. Say $50M for an F-35 and then a fee (profit) percentage is applied to the estimated cost. Lets say the parties agree to 5% fee on the $50m. The fee pool is then $2.5m. If it costs $70M to build the plane, there is no additional fee earned from $50-70m. The max fee (profit) that can be earned is the $2.5m even if there is a cost overrun on the originally estimated cost. A cost plus percentage of cost contract is illegal.
