Great video super informative, only if it was available 30 years ago when I got my Z32 it would have saved me alot of headaches. This is very valuable info to any Z32 owner, almost a guarantee they will see an issue needing this kind of diagnostics.

In line spark testers are probably best. Cheap at harbor freight. If you have a spare plug you can plug it into the coilpack while plugged into the harness, ground the plug threads on the manifold and check the electrode for spark

Caden is awesome at figuring out these Z's! He is a natural. The car ran beautifully all the way to Slamology! And idled great for audio demos. The only issue was coming home, it was raining. I think the intake picked up water (no flower pot mod on the Stillen yet) so i hope that will clear up. Today i ran it, and only the passrnger side tailpipe smokes and leaks fluid. Any idea of what is happening?

Either excess condensation leftover from the drive, or the plugs are fouling out on that lower compression cylinder are the current suspects

Quick questions I noticed that you use the Habor freight fuel pressure tester but what do you use for connecting to the fuel lines?

Its actually not a harbor freight. I was skeptical due to the price, but it could likely be the same for all I know haha. You use another section of fuel line to hook it between the tee

Looks like dished pistons? I have a tt swapped z I’m having a hard time telling if it was turbo swapped onto a na engine or was a tt engine swapped into the car did the early years have the same pistons?

Tt's are dished to 8.5:1 while na stick up at 10.5:1 Feel free to dm me on Instagram for a picture reference. @nedacsnosrap

So when I unplug my idle air control valve, it doesn’t really drop my RPMs at all and I can’t even adjust it to go below 1000 RPMs what would be the issue

I would make sure the contacts in the connector/valve are clean and free of corrosion. Alot of times thats the issue, sometimes it can be a faulty iacv
