Flannel suit and boots go perfect with that vintage Reverso. Love it. That watch looks very interesting too, I like the art deco style of the Reverso. But the modern models are a bit too big and boxy. Will check out the vintages. Where do you get your suits done?

Here's another fine Swiss French brand worth mentioning which most English speakers probably wont get right, "Jaquet Droz" Founded in 1738 by Pierre Jaquet-Droz and now famous for producing amazing very intricate artistic watch complications. The Bird minute repeater is mind blowing.

As a french guy, i won't speak about german names and such. Concerning french names, even if i heard few subtles mistakes, i must say that u nailed it! Way more accurate than any other english sources! P.S: You have to pronounce the "R" in Jaeger and not pronounce the 2nd "L" in Lecoultre. I know... Pretty confusing. @@CyclingNick970 Yeah, I thought so too. In Germany we pronounce the first word german and the "Le Coultre" french. Google Translate also says that there is no such word as Jaeger in French, but the translation of the German Word would be "Chasseur".

In fairness, he grew up in Germany. He's definitely fluent in German. Wouldn't be surprised if he's fluent in French too. Americans (and I am one) get totally shortchanged on language education, and end up monolingual. Totally the opposite in Europe. Hi, nice video but requires quite important correction on Patek Philippe. This is combination of 2 surnames -> Antoni Patek, who was Polish, and Adrien Philippe, who was French. Polish words and names are ALWAYS emphasized on penultimate syllabus, so it is not pa-TEK, but PA-tek. French names and words are always stressed on the last syllabus, so phi-LIPPE is OK. So the whole name is not pa-TEK phi-LIPPE, but PA-tek phi-LIPPE. Lot of people make mistake here. Sterns, company owners pronounce it correctly, there is also a nice video of Jenni Elle, who explains it right. Hope you will also remember it :)

In french, the l in le coultre is silent; we have a lot of useless letter that are put in word, like the "esn" in domesnil is traduced "é". Amazing video nontheless, really love your style

WHICH "l" is silent? Personally, I think the French Academy rolls dice to see which letters are silent an which are just wrong, and makes that the standard. :-)

David Weihe you pronouce « coutre » instead of « coultre » , but yeah, we have a dumb laguage. I think it’s old french words that got new but kept some old « roots ». For example, many old word used to have « est » like in « forest » and it became « forêt ». Typically the « ltr » or the « esn » looks like old letter combination

Simply look up for the pronunciation of the words air and messe in French, then say air-messe, and you'll have the perfect pronunciation.
