Im really surprised that Keens isn't on here. That mutton chop is seriously special. And it's like a museum in there. Its the best NYC steakhouse (in my personal option). I think it gets over looked a lot because it so old.

I'm surprised that Delmonicos was not on this list. I made a short visit to NYC in 2016 (my first ever), and made a point to go there. It was expensive to be sure (just over $200 for 2), but it was an iconic restaurant with a bit of history.

Came back from a trip to NY last 2weeks and really glad I went to Katz Deli, took lotsa pictures and videos , so much history in that place! Went also to Mighty queen BBQ, too bad the brontosaurus was over. Great trip tho, but man NY is sooo messy! non stop noise almost got me a heart attack! 😂😂😂

It is if you stick to brisket. Their pork sucks, their sausage is all-pork and not beef of a mix, and they are getting so creative that most of their menu items aren’t actually BBQ anymore. Typical business killer. No actual NYers go there anymore.
