*Might be interesting to scale it up to 16x36, and make the downstairs a half bath, eliminate the shower, and add a stack washer/dryer. I think each room would benefit nicely from the added space. Could also reorient the Master bedroom to be in the side with the chimney and add a bedroom fireplace. One last thought replicate the front porch in the back just a few feet deeper and screen/ glass it in as an all season porch. Just some day dreaming...*

A beautiful classic farmhouse design. 2 things I would change. The first floor shower is very odd and public for such a private activity. I would change that to a washer/dryer room. Secondly, I would get rid of the back window in the living room in favor of french doors leading on to a deck. It would brighten up the room and help make it feel less closed off.

Beautiful home indeed. Only one minor, and free change to make a big difference in the function. Centre the kitchen window on the back wall with the sink under it. You need at least 18 inches of counter on each side of the sink to make it work properly. Other than that, this is the perfect small home. Then again, it is essentially a home design from the 1700s brought up to date. A 5 light Georgian two up, two down. There are hundreds of not thousands built to this same basic plan in most countries in the world, and they work.

👍👍👏💯🤩has great curb appeal with additional outdoor living space. Loved when you never there was a coat closet.The living room is awesome just the place to curl up to fire. The dining and kitchen had plenty of storage especially the corner china cabinet. This would be my happy space !!!

It is a classic design that never goes out of style. But I would have a smaller powder room downstairs and combine the extra space with the downstairs shower space for a large pantry

Love this design, but would add porch off back of house. I would add an upstairs balcony and instead of shower on lower level, I'd move the corner hutch and put in a pantry where shower is. Make it truly more functional.

The house has potential. Downstairs: As someone else mentioned for the kitchen, relocate that back window and center the sink under it. I suspect that the louvered mystery door near the front entry houses a stackable washer & dryer. I'd eliminate the shower, and if that space isn't used for laundry machines it would make a much-needed closet The other mystery door may be a an understairs coat closet.

Looks nice! But not for me... I need a main floor bedroom, a laundry area with a sink and countertop space to fold clothes, a linen closet, and a place near the front door to hang coats. Might make a good starter home for someone though.
