Oh my god, I'm a girl and I'm just realizing how many guys may have wanted to flirt and I thought they were just interested in hearing someone's opinion about the coffee/sweater or just wanted to make a random remark about how good the restaurant is or honestly were interested in what I was drinking.... Feeling so dense and naive right now!! Anyway, guys, if you really want to flirt, go with his suggestion no. 1 because then at least the girl will realize you're trying to express interest. Hmm,that is great material,but if you use some of it on the girls(if it is your target,not just for meting new friends), you should deliver these lines in non needy way (without telegraphing the interest to her,without direct openers). Because it would only demonstrate the lower value(DLV) to her which results attraction loss from her perspective. Remember, if you come of like a person who seeks attention,that is DVL,and she will react and perceive you like you would perceive the mosquito (annoying and unimportant) . If you would come up with more indirect openers that would be swell :)
