I recently returned to washing my hair daily after a decade+ of trying to wash my hair every few days, to every other day. It just didn’t work for me, my hair never adjusted, it would be super greasy and itchy in between and I just tried to deal with it till the next wash but it was just so gross. I have to wash my hair daily and honestly, my hair feels the healthiest it’s been in such a long time. But this is definitelt personal, I just wanted to make the point that washing hair less doesn’t work for everyone and if you’ve been trying and it’s not working you’re not a failure and it’s ok to wash your hair more often ❤

Satin is a type of weave not materiaal composition. For all who cannot afford silk, if you can put your hands on satin fabric made of cotton, that would be really great.

For sugar waxing. My mother taught me to wax in the direction of the hair growth. Before applying it just brush the hair with your hand against hair growth to make the hair stand and unstick to your skin. Apply the wax against the direction of the hair. And pull in the same direction of the hair direction. This prevents stripping of skin layers. And also prevents the ingrown hair

I love your videos, they are so calming and so informative! But two things struck me: 1. Seed oils are not necessarily bad for you. Many of them are rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids. Just like olive oil, as long as they are cold-pressed and not industrially processed, they are actually rather healthy for you. 2. Satin is a weave, not a fibre. You can have satin made from natural fibres like silk, cotton, etc.

Castor oil is a thick oil that can block the oil glands on your waterline (eyelids). It happened to me, and was very hard to get rid of. The symptoms are eyes that feel dry all the time and tiny bumps on your waterline. Avoid if possible!

I have to chime in about conditioner. I was a practicing cosmetologist for 8 years and was educated a lot on chemicals and ph when it comes to hair care. Depending on what you use to shampoo it can be REALLY important to condition your scalp too. Shampoos raise the ph of your hair AND skin and the conditioner is ph balanced with the shampoo to bring your hair and skin back to neutral ph (about 7). If you shampoo the scalp and don’t condition, the ph stays very high. This causes it to either be very dry (dandruff and itching) or causes the scalp to over produce oil making your hair limp and oily at the scalp.

If you have fine hair don't even dream of putting castor oil on it. It's such a heavy oil it's gonna be a nightmare to wash out and it WILL weigh down your hair!! speaking from personal experience 😅
@77Reba5 ай бұрын
I have fine hair and I dilute the castor oir with other oils. (Usually virgin olive oil) So it will be easier to wash out. I also use clarifying shampoo after oil treatment. Sometimes I put this mixture at the end of my wet hair and let it air dry. Gives me smooth hair all the time. 🥰

When I was a kid my mom used castor oil to DRENCH my hair when I had head lice and left it over night. It took three or so washes to get it all out but it suffocated the lice and made it so they couldn’t stick to the hair, so it was worth it lol

I’m a big fan of black seed oil and castor oil- both topically as moisturizer for my super dry hands, and occlusive last step in my skin care routine, and I use a tiny amount and massage into my scalp for scalp care and hair growth. I also drink a table spoonful of black seed oil first thing in the morning and it’s been amazing- blood sugar balancing, appetite control, aids in digestion, super huge difference in my dry skin all over my body, it has a nice mood calming effect, and I think it’s helping reduce hair fall also. Amazing oils. Also I love drinking apple cider vinegar as well. Mixed with water, it’s amazing for gut health, improving immune health, and blood sugar balancing similar to the black seed oil. Faaaaaves~

I'm allergic to most synthetic fabrics and fragrances so I mostly stick with natural fabrics. Stretch fabrics are helpful as each of my body measurements are a different size. My bust is extra large, waist is large, and my hips are medium. Below my hips I am extra small. My bust used to be a 3X when I was a 34KK. I got a breast reduction in 2015 and lost 8 cup sizes. They are still 5 cup sizes too large. I'm a 34GG or 32HH. It is 34D or 32E that matches my narrow hips. I wear a sun/rain hat with a wind strap when it is too bright outside. I have large pupils so light blinds me. I wash my hair once or twice a week, but condition it daily. I do the LCO method as my hair is low porosity. The cuticle is super tight and repels water and some conditioners and styling products. Step one is a leave in conditioner, step two is a low porosity hair cream, and final step is oil. For high porosity, you do the LOC method. Step one is the same, then you apply oil, and finish with a high porosity cream. I prefer toxin free products and clean ingredients. I need both a silk pillowcase and sheets since I like to cocoon myself completely underneath the covers. My scalp and hair don't like tight hairstyles. They give me headaches. I just use a wide silk headband to keep my hair away from my face when I am awake. I let it run free when I sleep as I got breakage when I wore a sleep bonnet. I prioritize sleep. My basal sleep need is nine hours and if I have a sweet dream I'll sleep as long as possible. If I have a nightmare I wake up immediately. I usually fall back into the same dream if it is a nightmare and a different one if it is a sweet dream. I am calm, passive, and easygoing so I don't stress very much. I likely don't stress enough. I listen to my body's cues. I want to switch to a twin size canopy bed. I'm the only one who sleeps on it. I can use the additional free space to swing my kettlebells. The bed I have is too large. Lee, our teenage son Daniel, and I can all fit on it. There isn't space for me to swing them. I'm a deep sleeper. Lee is a light sleeper and even a change in temperature wakes him up so he has a separate bedroom. I prefer a firm mattress. Lee prefers a soft mattress.

I love frownies. Pared with my benzonite clay mask, and I make pork tallow for skin moisturizer. Look into it, our skin can better absorb tallow than it can oils. I work at a butchers so I get pure beef or pork fat I render into tallow. Pork tallow is so much silkier than beef. I also use it to cook with. I put it on my scalp and ends. It’s amazing

The only thing about that visor is that it does not protect your actual scalp. It's very common to get skin cancer on your scalp. I realise that yes, you have a lot of hair, but you have a hair part that is exposed and the sun can peak through.

I like your videos and also you. I've tried to follow the hair care tips from you. Here I'm facing some issues. I am sharing them so that you can guide me to a better solution. Thanks. 1) I have long hair. I was trying to only shampoo on the scalp and just conditioning on the middle to the ends. But After doing these several times, I saw my hair had become drier on the ends. And also I find my hair is not as lively as in the past. Is it due to product buildup as I do not shampoo on the ends and use conditioner? 2) Before applying any homemade hair mask should I not wash all of my hair with shampoo? If I only wash the scalp and the lower length of hair will not get the nutrients they have a cote of conditioner on them. Note: OGX Renewing + Argan Oil of Morocco Shampoo and TRESemme Thick & Full With Glycerol Pro Collection Conditioner. I also do not rinse with apple cider vinegar.
