00:00 Introduction
00:19. Use Windex to clean your patent leather shoes.Because of the mirror finish of the leather, you'll get a nice shine and you remove any scuffs.
00:48 Tie your shoelaces so they never come undone. Basically, you want your knot to be horizontal so whenever you walk, your knot becomes tighter and not looser.
01:06 Use ice cubes to get wrinkles out of dress shirts. You put your dryer on high, you throw in your shirt along with a handful of ice cubes. The steam that is generated from the ice cubes will release the wrinkles and you get a shirt that's basically wrinkle-free.
01:27 Keep your shirt collar stiff with a belt while travelling, First, you roll up your belt to the side of your shirt collar. Second, you simply insert it into the shirt collar.
01:48 Sharpen your cartridge razor blades on a pair of denim. Put one layer of denim on a flat surface such as a table, then take your cartridge razor and go against the cutting motion.
02:12 Open a wine bottle with shoelaces. Tie a nut in the shoelace just once, make sure it's thick enough, then take a pointy object, just a file or a knife, put it here, and then shove it through the cork into the bottle. Once it's at the bottom and it's come out, you simply take the shoelace and pull out the cork.
02:41 It's basically an un-hack because you use a clothes brush. It takes out the dust, it helps to prevent any moth bites, and you don't have to bring it to the dry cleaner that often.
03:16 Use your neck to figure out if pants will fit. All you do is you take the pair of pants by the waist, throw it around your neck and make sure that it touches at the end.
03:38 Use baby powder to remove oil stains.
03:55 No bottle opener? no problem! You can always open your beer with another bottle.
04:10 Use clear nail polish to prevent a button from coming off. Put a dab on the top of the button, over the thread so it won't come off and the next time you have the chance, you can simply replace it.
04:30 Use stale bread to clean suede shoes. The staler the bread, the better the result. Of course, you don't want anything moldy on your shoe.
04:49 Stretch tight shoes in the freezer.
05:08 Rub deodorant on your feet so you prevent chaffing and blisters and foot odor.
05:25 Remove red wine stains with white wine.
05:37 Use lemon juice to prevent sweat stains.
05:49 Use a paper clip as a collar stay.
06:02 Add salt to ice to cool things down instantly.
06:19 Use a hair straightener to iron your collar or other things. Especially when you're travelling.
06:37 Stuff socks in your shoes while travelling.
06:47 Use a pin or a safety pin on the back of your lapel.
06:55. Repurpose old pantyhose to polish your shoes.
07:16 Use Conditioner in Place of Shaving Cream.
07:20 Get rid of smelly shoes with lemon peel.
07:32 Use a urinal without any backsplash.
07:43 Protect your goods at the beach.
08:07 Use soda can tabs to use one hanger after another if you are out of space.
08:34 Put in a corkscrew at a slight angle, you get the cork out without any mess and issues.
08:52 Use a clothes pin to hold a nail while hammering .
09:05 Use a zip lock bag to protect your cigars from drying out.
09:24 Pour cheap vodka through your water filter to make it more palatable.
09:46 Gargle whisky mixed with water to relieve a sore throat.
10:07 Use drip drop to prevent hangovers.
10:27 Use wine boxes to store your off-season shoes.
if you have any life hacks, please get in touch with us!

The shirt collar and belt trick is good. I've used that one before. You save space AND keep your shirt crisp. Be careful with that razor on the jean tricks. A lot of new blades have moisture strips that will get all over your pants. #33 is good, you can also just drink the bourbon instead of gargling. Drink enough and you won't feel the sore throat or any other feelings for that matter.

To get a perfect dimple in your tie, use this safety pin life hack. After you put on your tie, pull the wide part of the tie about an inch above the knot. Use your fingers to squeeze the section of the tie that you just pulled to create a vertical fold along the middle. While holding that fold, use your other hand to put a mini safety pin on the underside to keep the fold in place. At this point you can let go and tighten your tie at usual. The safety pin will be hidden inside the tie knot and your tie will have a perfect dimple.

another shoe hack - if you're short on shoe rack space, turn one show backwards (toe pointing out but still right way up) depending on your foot width you can fit an extra 20% (so a length of space that takes 5 shoes can now take 6 shoes - for my shoe rack which is three rows high that means instead of 15 shoes/boots it now fits 18 shoes/boots)

I don’t know if it’s something gentlemen do, but I learned how to sew a long time ago and find it very handy to carry a mini emergency sewing kit in my purse almost at all times. That way no matter what I can usually repair something last minute by hand if necessary. I know most can’t take this on a plane but for day to day it’s incredibly useful.

Just a sad note on the lemon juice for swear stains tip - this might work for some people, but others will never be able to get stains out unfortunately. It has to do with body chemistry, my parents run a dry cleaner and they occasionally have to tell people that they'll just have to buy new shirts or dresses, or wear different colours, because their body chemistry just stains certain white fabrics irrevocably.

Some might say this is nitpicking but it isn't, salt does not make ice colder. It chemically forces a change in the state of matter from solid to liquid and that requires a large amount of energy. This energy comes from warm beer or soda that you put into it, cooling it rapidly.

Listening in the car with my kids and my 9 year old says "this has nothing to do with being a gentleman. This is just about how to dress nice." I asked him what he meant and he says "being a gentleman is like holding doors for girls or being nice to dogs or being polite to old people. Lots of people are gentlemen even if they don't dress nice." Proud father moment. I don't care how a man dresses. I care how he treats others, that he's honest, that he respects and defends things worth respecting. Buy all the fountain pens and cuff links you want. Money can't buy class.

In life hack #33 at 9:49, the word "gurgle" is used to describe how to get rid of a sore throat. More correct is gargle, which is the action made by swishing the liquid in the back of the throat. Gurgle, on the other hand, is more about the sound made than the action taken.

@@lindadaheim3412 but Bic the best lighter. Anyone who uses anything more costly than a bic is a fool.

@@TheRealUnconnected I have a Zippo lighter, and an electric lighter which was a gift, the Zippo you can refill whereas the bics after they are done they are useless

@@DavidMedina-lu1wf Thank you i am aware that bics are disposable. You can also buy about 100 large bics for the price of 1 nice zippo plus gas, and a pack of flints. 100 large bics will last you like 10 years easy. Also, don't use the electric arc lighters, they expel straight ozone gas because the arc ionises the air and it causes severe lung damage, far worse than smoking, far quicker.

Hey question, will the windex ruin your shoes? Like is it a temporary fix or can I use it multiple times? Thanks

Only use it once if you don't have anything else, but do not use it over and over again. Otherwise the leather will suffer.

Sometimes drycleaners are not performing, and you cannot just wash suit in the machine. Are you going to release a video about spot stain removal from wool/silk/linen suits?
