@@SnypLuciano Have no idea how he could sell. Right now he has much tall bamboos that has fallen down. He has been cutting up and burning a bit lately. Some are young green, some older.. Shame. I selected a few to make curtain rods in one room, and a few where I could decorate putting a few cut in large urn with pampas grass.

Bamboo scaffolding (for very tall buildings) was so widely used in China that I never saw anything else when I was a kid. Never occurred to me the rest of the world may not use it. We also used a type of grass to tie these scaffoldings together and it’s supposedly only available in some southern provinces.

Funfact: You don´t find many stone tools in China from the stoneage as they apparently made most of their stuff from bamboo (shelter, cups, furniture, even knives). You can also eat bamboo, make drinks from it, or today use it for textiles.
