Dude, your videos are so awesome. You compile the best ideas ever, I have to thank you for making these inspiring videos! Fantastic! 👍😀

I really enjoy your compilations. I know of a barrel use that you missed. Recently, I saw a " smokeless" burn barrel. Idk what's easier, giving credit in the description or overlaying the channel name on the screen, but the latter is easier to follow-up on if I want to check-out the other channels.

Put air holes in barrel. Drill holes in tree stump put red hot Coles in stump holes turn barrel over on top. Depending on size of stump will burn instead of paying hundreds of $ for removal.

I made a composting toilet and used 12 of them I switched out 1 per month then dumped the oldest after a year no paper or poop in them just dirt. Use free saw dust to cover after each use.
@TruckTaxiMoveIt4 жыл бұрын
Although it served the primary purpose as a toilet and provided you with some soil in the end my guess is after a year all the beneficial bacteria as well as beneficial minerals experienced anaerobic burn out resulting in dead soil. Consider putting a bunch of worms in there at the very end of use and some holes in the top and letting the worms give you a rich compost at the end of the process.

Interesting and clever ideas. I the plastic 55 gallon drums for composting - they last longer. But hey... You forgot the most popular use: to put somebody in a drum, after you've killed them, and bury it in your backyard. (I have a disgustingly bizarre sense of "humor")
@tomwhite45846 жыл бұрын
In Australia they actually do it. Bodies in a barrel case (Nowra I think) and a few months ago a very young girl was found in one, very sad, but true.

Gonna go ahead and warn people here, do not cut or weld on one of these barrels without taking proper precautions. There are countless videos on KZbin of people lighting up an arc on a barrel that they didn't clean properly, and blowing themselves to bits.

How about making good kick drums from cut in half, or thirds steel barrels. Would need a lot of shit as far as machine tools, to make rims
@eddiejames18476 жыл бұрын
Do NOT use for a grill, smoker, or anything to cook or prepare food UNLESS the barrel had food for human consumption in it!!! If it had motor oil or other chemicals in it, it can make you very sick or even kill you even if you wash and clean it because the chemicals and oil can actually absorb into the metal and then release during the time you're cooking.
@WordsOfLastDays5 жыл бұрын
Obviously, one would have to run a few burning sessions to get rid of all chemicals before cooking any food in these.
