Actually built one of these myself last year. If you are considering it, do it. if the soldering intimidates you, I got some front io extension cables and just inserted them into the Xbox front io wiring. You don't need to compromise on performance either, I fit a modern (at the time) i5 and and RTX 2060. Linus fit a 2070 in his.

I’m going to build one of these, specifically for playing Battlefield 4 at maximum settings. Xbox’s Battlefield 4 is still running at 720P despite the Xbox One X, and Xbox SX capabilities. Sure wish they’d give us a 1080p/4K remastered version.

So what did y'all mount the motherboard to? None of the stock Xbox standoffs necessarily look like m-ITX standoffs so I would assume a motherboard tray of some description needs mounting into the bottom of the Xbox to hold it

Im confused by a couple of things. How you got 4 usb working at the front. Ive only come across dual usb splitters and the usb headers only usually have one on board. Ive got a corsair h60 in my xbox build with an i9 9900. Temps are around 30-40 and it runs so quiet. Just cant see how you got the usb setup 🤦‍♂️

You guys should get a small console like a wii or a n64 and stuff a intel Vega nuc inside of it. Better yet seriously go buy one of those intel Vega nucs. They are on sale because of being previous gen, and they are on par with a gtx 1070 in power. They are about 10 inches 16:10 dimensions for the motherboard and with heatsink can fit in something around inch thick. You can make a handheld out of it that would be the worlds most powerful handheld period, you could stuff it inside anything and make an awesome and powerful mod. Please. Do it.
