Thanks so much! The horn connection ending up being the hardest part in the end as all the wires have to be squeezed into such a small space. Good luck with your setup!!

can u make a video how to install the racing seatbelt bar
@ConTheDon1877 жыл бұрын
I'd recommend using some blue loctite on the little m6 hub screws, and the main hub nut, just to ensure they don't loosen up. cause I've had it happen haha.

Gung Ferdoosh yeah, a good shout. Mine did rattle loose a couple of times

Is there much of a different with the stock wheel having controls volume etc etc. Order NRG kit in ebay hopefully comes with resistors. If not no horn and an anoying light
@Cranked-up-racing8 жыл бұрын
The nrg kit comes with all the connections you'll need. My car is the Base model so didn't come with volume controls on the factory wheel.

What size was the new steering wheel? I'm looking at a 310mm but I'm worried it's too small.
@Ed-vi4rx7 жыл бұрын
Like the Sterling wheel. But way the quick disconnect? The wheel comes to much towards you. Like your Vids. Verry tutorial
@Cranked-up-racing7 жыл бұрын
Ed Peterson yeah it sits a fair bit from the dash board. But you could get a none deep dish steering wheel so it would sit closer to the dash.

What size the steering wheel?
@TheofficialAlexFuentes7 жыл бұрын
Lol were you able to fix the horn at the end? That’s so weird
@Cranked-up-racing7 жыл бұрын
Alex Fuentes yeah. Although it dis stop working again, haha, the wires are all so tight in there, it needs all soldering properly to get rid of the chunky connectors really
@sykem89667 жыл бұрын
Hello do you know if the resistors are available to buy/order by themselves aside from a full kit???
@Cranked-up-racing7 жыл бұрын
Syke M yeah you can buy them for pence from an electrical store like maplins. not sure on the exact rating but a Google search will let you know.
@sykem89667 жыл бұрын
SJB Garage, besides the fuse on the end of the wire is there a resistor soldered on the end of the harness where it plugs onto the car under the heat shrink??
@Cranked-up-racing7 жыл бұрын
Syke M well some zeds are different and have a two stage airbag which requires two resisters, mine has the basic airbag and only needed one. if you buy a resistor it'll be simple to do. just won't have the shrinkwrap part in it. although you can probably buy one's like that that
@sykem89667 жыл бұрын
SJB Garage yes I seen you only used 1 send me the other one that you didnt use lmao, thanks again for timely response great vid!!!!
@Cranked-up-racing7 жыл бұрын
Syke M haha. I think it's lost in the depths of my garage I'm afraid. no problem at all

take the cruise control button off and retro fit it somewhere
@lionking76868 жыл бұрын
there is a hub that can retain the cruise control, i forget the brand, check with your mod dealers
@hnoobsho8 жыл бұрын
I ordered a double din and it came with wires to keep the steering controls and cruise control which i then reused when i fit my after market steering wheel. Bought new buttons that attach to the sides rather than the top and they all work like normal.
