Excellent testing video. I always enjoy watching your testing videos. Luckily for me one week age I was able to find me some Federal HST .357 Sig 125 grain JHP for my Glock 31. Federal HST is always my #1 choice with Speer Gold Dot being #2. Both rounds did very good. The only thing I don’t like with Federal HST is the 200 grain with the 10mm. I wish federal made the 10mm HST in a 180 grain. I love the 180 grain in 10mm. I have some old Federal Hydra Shock 10mm in 180 grain. I want to update to the HST but I’m not a fan of that 200 grain. That definitely is watered down 10mm. So many ammo makers are watering down 10mm these days. It would be great if they get back to loading 10mm like it should be loaded. I think I may go ahead and update to the 200 grain HST 10mm anyway. I prefer to have the newest technology in the HST which I do love. Sad to say I won’t be completely happy because it is watered down 10mm.

The G32 is my carry/car gun and it is loaded with these Federal HSTs along with a two extra mags. One extra mag is loaded with more HSTs the other mag is loaded with Underwood 68gr XDs. As Mr. T would say, I pity the fool!

Both performed very well. We want to complain about the 10mm HST because it is "under powered". But if this was a 40 cal we would be cheering, applauding and doing a happy dance. The performance was nearly equal to the 357 Sig in every area plus noticeably more penetration. Good option for personal defense against bad guys. Thank you.

The. .357sig just brings the pain, i purchased a LEO trade g35 long slide and dropped in a alpha wolf. 357sig barrel 5.3 inches. Ive recently started carrying double tap 115gr solid copper hollow points, would love to see you put this round through your testing. Again, i really enjoyed the video as always. Thanks for the test! That 10mm 200gr HST adds some versatiliy to the 10mm cartridge by giving it really good performance while keeping it subsonic. A really good choice if you want to use a suppressor., something that I want to try with my G29 using a KKM barrel.

Another good test! The 357 Sig never disappoints and while I'd like to a bit more "go" behind the 200, I think a 180 or even 165 gr bullet would make things much better for the 10mm. As far as I know Federal doesn't offer any lesser weight bullets in the HST 10mm line, although to be honest, I've never even seen the 200 gr in stock anywhere! They both did well and while I'd like to see more penetration for the 357 Sig, about the only way they can do that is to reduce the expansion, so it's a dilemma! I don't think one could go wrong with the 10mm either so it comes down, with this ammo, to which one the shooter likes the best! Personally, I'll be sticking with my Xtreme Defender bullets in my 29! I have an ok supply of the 100 gr XD and get an average of 1688 from the Glock 29! I get a bit more than 100 fps less with the 115 and they don't shoot as quite well from the 29 as they do from the Glock 40. Recoil is almost nonexistent! If I put my 9" Lone Wolf barrel on the G40 I get 1840 with the 115 and 1970 with the 100's. Now that's smokin'! Cheers, jc

I’ve been on the fence about adding a Glock 357, as bad as I’ve wanted one, but just haven’t felt the need due to having the Glock 29 (10mm) already. Feel it’s pointless to get a 357 when I see the 10mm in a lot of videos doing better.

I'd love ❤️ the 357. Sig if I could find ammo... Everyone here buys it off the shelf. I have found the 10mm and have some , so I was thrilled watching the test results, and although the 10mm seems weak it still performed really well, and might just be good enough of the city to the woods gun carry load for my G29. I have a 357. magnum S&W 5 shot short barrel I will carry with hardcast as a backup. Even in the city there's potential brush barriers as in the woods... light skinned automobiles, where the 10mm would definitely be a good choice, especially subsonic in confine spaces. I had gotten the G29 to replace the 357... going from 5 shots to 10 is definitely a win! Heck you never know when your going to see another bear run across the street, when you stop to warn others in the city of Gatlinburg Tennessee and they just turn to look at you in disbelief like your crazy... Hugh crazy just enough to know to carry just in case! lol

It's definitely pretty sparse here as well, but there is still a few places that keep it stocked for me😁. Would be nice to see that 10 loaded a lil hotter but still good to see that it performs as well as it did even the shorter barrel. Can't go wrong with that shorty 357 mag u have either. This is a comparison... NOT a test. If you want to test you AT LEAST need the same barrel length, which means 5" barrels, and as close to the same grain weight as possible.

I can't manage the Sig for follow on. 1911 platform 10mm I can. Fully admit the Sig .357 has more cowbell. I have a question. As a new 10mm owner, I understand companies are loading .40 charge for 10mm and not telling us. This load only chronograph 963 FPS in my Micro compact M&P shield 3.1” barrel but full MASSIVE .72 caliber expansion and very good 16” of penetration through 4 layers (2cotton) (2denim) But i shot gallon water jugs not actual ordinance gel🤷🏾‍♂️

Man Glock needs to come up with a G19 sized 10 Milly.. I mean a Grip like the G19 and making it also nearly as thin as the G19 They could do single stack 10mm mags and then maybe a company like pro shields can do a double stack steel mag like for the 43x… Imagine a thin compact 10mm Glock.., 10mm really the coolest caliber out there
