Others have mentioned this, but this video series is one of the best things to come from the CoViD-19 mess. I'm sure we all hope that these videos continue after life gets back to whatever the "new normal" will look like. It's such a privilege to hear these songs with the bass at the front of the mix, and a great opportunity to learn from one of the true masters of the art. Lee, thanks for taking the time to share with us!

the thing with the real musicians who played with the artists is now all the tutorials - guitar lessons are fake and wrong but i knew it for years:)) it's just made to have some views only a very little number of persons have the real tabs and really play like the masters so, that's all (Genesis )

Lee, as a bassist, I started playing in 1965 as a 13 year old and I still play today. Over the years, I was very aware of you presence in the music world but I didn't follow you. With this present Covid-19 issue and just recently retired from my day job, I was perusing the KZbin videos and I came across your videos here. I can't say any more positive words that haven't been expressed by others but I really appreciate both your playing and what you're doing here on KZbin. As I listen to you here, musically you are saying what needs to be said. Solid, soulful playing no flash or tricks just pure musicianship, I can see why you're a "first call" player. I tip my hat to you sir. Now off to watch you other videos, stay healthy sir.

A few years back I was watching a season of it and after a few episodes it sunk in just how killer the bass playing was, so I looked it up and discovered you, then I got to see what else you’ve done. I can’t believe it took me so long to become aware of your playing, much like Carrol Kaye who I was only mildly aware of before the wrecking crew documentary came out.
