+MrCodyhoskins Every character on that show is a hypocrite. If you don't think anyone is allowed to be angry because of that, everyone would have to shut up about everything. Robert has every right to be upset with Chas for what she did to Diane, intentionally or not. He is just worried about his family, which the Dingles seem to get away with every time, but once the Sugdens start acting the same way, they're just being annoying hypocrites. If Chas had been the one stabbed by Diane, Cain would definitely be running around bad mouthing her, and everyone would just say that he was worried and looking out for his family. There are so many double standards when it comes to the Dingles and the Sugdens nowadays. The Sugdens haven't said or done anything in this storyline that the Dingles wouldn't do. Just give them a break.

+Mie SB Frankly I personally think everyone should just shut up about everything. Everyone is indeed a hypocrite. I don't see why any person should get to go around complaining about how someone bopped their relative, meanwhile they did the exact same thing to someone else's relative just the other day, and will probably do it again tomorrow. And still argue their case as if it's ok when they do it, but not okay when someone else does. Doesn't matter which family does it, it always annoys the hell out of me. A little empathy goes a long way.

+alwaysuseless If you mean the quality of the show, it has been for months now. I'm not sorry to hear they're getting a new producer. If you mean Aaron and Robert, that will likely continue to be dragged out to bait fans, even as neither character has anything of value to do.

Frank Harker Ah, I didn't know that. Thanks for the info. Of course, the script and production run well ahead of airing, so we may not see any changes attributable to a new producer for a month or two after he or she takes over. As for Emmerdale's baiting us by having Aaron and Robert "running in place," yeah, I think all soaps do this with their more popular characters, and the bigger the cast, the more often it's likely to happen.

Danny Miller tweeted that Robron is still on. The writers are just taking a break from it for a short while but very soon he said that we will see exactly how Aaron and Robert really feel about each other... I can't wait!

+Bi-Costal Teacher I think it's a good idea and it makes sense. It wouldn't be realistic right now to have them back together, considering all they've been through. They need time to work it out and to gain each other's trust again. I'm sure they'll get together eventually, but it will take some time. Something needs to happen to bring them closer, and only then can they start to mend things.

+TM M I think she has lots of empathy, she's constantly in the hospital caring and worrying about a family member, she's there for her friends, but she has to speak up when her brothers are trying to kill each other, she can't be ok with people wanting her brother dead no matter what he';s done...he is her brother. And is she suppose to go and comfort Chas when she stabbed her stepmother???? Look at the Dingles they talk big about justice and calling the police etc when some one hurts one of there own but when one of them does something to some one they lie and cover it up.

I like Robert most of the time, i really do, not as much as Aaron of cause and far far less than Cain, but i like him, even love him sometimes... And he is right to be sad and angry, but it annoyes me alot, that he does all those really bad things on purpose and when it comes down to other people doing things, even If they aren't on purpose, he is all hypocritical and mad. Like he was with Adam and now with chas....
