The BMW M50 and the BMW B58 should have been mentioned in this video,the B58 powers the Ineos Grenadier and the Toyota Supra,the McLaren F1 was also powered by a 6.1 liter naturally aspirated BMW V12 engine.

I have the mark 5 with the B58, a good engine, tunable, but thank God Toyota had it sent to Japan to change cheap plastic in some internals the BMW put in. I don't get BMW, they make nice interiors, good steering but continue to put plastic in engines and at dumb locations near heat often. It's 2024 already, haven't the Germans figured this out yet? No wonder their cars depreciate. JDM cars are so far superior It's immeasurable. I drive so much and see Mercedes, BMWs, Volvos and other non-JDMs on the side of the road. When I see a JDM, they have a flat, but that's it. This is no secret folks.

This episode of 37 iconic reliable engines is great but the stupid AI shows models that do not apply. For example, it speaks about the 2HZ-GTE, but shows a Mark 5 Supra. The VR 38 DETT in the GTR was shown but then shows the new concept GTR. Just have a human create these videos bc the enthusiasts want to see the correct versions of the cars they're speaking about in the video. Just cut the shit with the silly robotic crap.
