Thank you for the video. This is the first time I have watched your channel. The mysterious tool you used to crack the mochi was a "slot" screwdriver, used to turn screws.
@nushikitchen11 ай бұрын
thank you. You're right! However, this flathead screwdriver is too big and seems like it can't be used for anything other than crushing mochi. lol

Can you please share the brand of woks and frying pans you use? They look niceeee
@nushikitchen11 ай бұрын
Thank you! I am very glad. The big black iron frying pan is very old, so I don't know the brand, sorry. The silver frying pan is Miyazaki Seisakusho's geosauté pan (25cm in diameter).

I'm very interested in your cabbage egg sandwiches. Did you add salt to the cabbage to draw out moisture before adding it to the eggs?
@nushikitchen6 ай бұрын
Thank you. Yes I did. It is recommended to do so, since Chinese cabbage contains a large amount of water.

Thank you for watching my video! I'm glad you like it. It's a different type of bread than this one, but I made a video of how to make it in #42. The ingredients are slightly different, but the method is the same. Please take a look if you like.

Don't mean to be dumb but what the heck is sea chicken? I keep seeing this in people's videos but they never explain what it is? Or hiw it got the name? As I highly doubt that it us real chicken that live in the sea , I could be wrong but I think I'm not. But who knows 🤔 🤷🏻♀️🤔
@nushikitchen2 ай бұрын
Sea Chicken doesn’t actually mean chicken. It’s a product name for Japanese canned tuna in oil, and similar products are often called that. As you mentioned, it’s a pretty strange name! If you’re curious, detailed information about the ingredients is also provided in the video description, so feel free to check it out.

Dear Nushi, I love your videos and never miss one! I cannot recreate all your recipe because I don' t have all the ingredients you have in Japan but I enjoy the same way and you are doing soo good! elegant, clear, inspiring, fun! If you want to know how to make kimchi , I suggest you to watch the vlog of ' Kitchenstory' from a Korean woman, she is also fantastic, I'm sure you will like her videos! Take care!!!!Love🥰
