Good choice of music, sets the tone. Nice job in your securement. During winter I like to stay in northern, snowy states. I don't like the transition from warm, south states into the north, very hard on the body to acclimatize. There's also the likely chance you'll run into rain before you hit the snow, just the weather transitioning from warm to cold. Which means wet tarps and straps that turn to ice hard. I like tarping my loads but rolling up frozen tarps and straps with combined ice is a bit much of a workout.

What are the deadhead credits
@lexex47234 жыл бұрын
what he ment by that was that hes done a lot of close reloads so he hasnt had to dead head super far. so hes "saved" up deadhead credits. kinda tongue in cheek way of saying it.

i think the aluminum rolls i picked up in Kentucky and delivered in Denver, were for newspaper companies. i remember working at a newspaper company as a "facilities engineer", fancy words for janitor. anyway, they use aluminum sheets to put words on, then placed em in these big rollers, and they printed out newspapers.

The pump price also includes the Fuel Tax for that state that the fuel was purchased in. Because the state fuel taxes vary greatly from state to state the pump price doesn't tell the whole story. For example, if you were buying 100 gallons of fuel and we will assume that New York and Alaska both were both selling their fuel for $2.00 a gallon plus tax. In Alaska the price per gallon with the fuel tax would be $2.08 a gallon and the New York price would be $2.4085. If you drive only in that state it's a simple calculation. Because each state has their own fuel tax and if you have fuel to drive in four different states, then each state is going to charge you their fuel tax based on the number of gallons used in that state. Different fuel taxes from state to state to state greatly complicate the taxes owed to each state...that why we have accountants.

Why are coils different color? Different metal color? Or different types of metals?
@JamesSmith-jq2jc4 жыл бұрын
My opinion is for different color siding or roofing. It's probably already coated in whatever color that's chosen.

It would be so cool to see what you eat whilst out on your travels whether you cook in cab or at truck stops. Reason being here in the UK the services are pathetic and very expensive and the variety in the US is just amazing and just so cheap and this is what I've seen from other US vloggers that I watch 😃🇬🇧🇬🇧 but your NO 1 🙂

THE best music in ALL of trucking Vlogs, in the English speaking world. Kicks total posterior 4:30+ mark, and 7:00 also. God love you Dan. AND I am not a rock'n roller, more a Mahler, Wagner, shakuhachi, or shamisen, or sitar sort. How you do it, I do not know, but you do. A REAL somebody. Thank you. Gives me the courage to go on, in a vast and pitiless universe set to inevitably destroy us all. Yet we get to visit earth, experiencing frequency, feeling, and grace. You must have studied music formally way back when or have some additional genius, super-imposed on top of to your obviously super developed practical genie! [ 'Jinn (Arabic: جن, jinn), also Romanized as djinn or Anglicized as genies (with the more broad meaning of spirits or demons, depending on source), are supernatural creatures in early pre-Islamic Arabian and later Islamic mythology and theology. Since jinn are neither innately evil nor innately good, Islam was able to adapt spirits from other religions during its expansion. Jinn are not a strictly Islamic concept; rather, they may represent several pagan beliefs integrated into Islam'. ] How you, Dan, manage to take the--nearly--super mundane, aka 'just driving down the freeway', tarping, strapping, loading, unloading, cornering tight spaces, into something so magical is a great gift you give those of us, somewhat stuck at home, mostly just living in or preoccupied mainly, with imaginal realms of thought, as distinct from your far more practical and useful efforts in the real--material--world.

@@SuperTruckerdan doubtlessly so Super Trucker Dan. It is explained. Makes a lot of sense...... In my case, I started designing buildings, at age ten, drawing by first six months. By eighteen, it was embedded within me. Now, at 61, its a permanent and natural part of life. Does not have to be architecture. Can be programming in html, sales or contact management, building an audience or following, strategy, serious competitive chess, or fine cooking. We bring these preternatural skills with us, wherever we go. Such is you here, too.
