When Brendan was telling mitzeee about what happened, it just really hit home for me. It happened countless times and his father walks around like he has amnesia. people like that just disgusts me. I am glad he told mitzee what happened. I am glad that with ste and the kids he found some peace. He needs them and his siter. I hope cheryl finds out and tells him nothing is his fault. I think he needs to hear that.

It's so weird because I don't hate Doug at all, in fact I started watching hollyoaks because I saw a Stug video on KZbin but then I saw a video with Brendan and he immediately caught my attention. I'm obsessed with him and Stendan, I do think he's Ste's true love. I just hate how Doug thought he could get rid of Brendan or compete with him.

I agree with you 100%. My thoughts exactly. Truth is Ste and Doug were the very first gay couple that I ever watched and I really liked them together at the time but eventually Doug's insecurities got in the way like they were bound to from the beginning. I will never forget Stug because they were my first but I will always prefer Stendan.

Same for me. Stug was so cute and this Brendan guy was an annoyance but then I started watching it from the beginning. Brendan became this amazing character that looked like he was straight out of Sat Night Fever, scary as Freddie Krueger, sexy as all hell, with crazy facial expressions that could be on Looney Toons. And Emmett made him so endearing that regardless if you were gay, straight, white, black, or purple you went away thinking - can I have one of those ... preferably without the punching....

I'm really devastated guys... Brendan and Mitzee conversation broke my heart; Emmett is so brilliant and Brendan is deeper than an abyss. Such a tormented, broken, loving soul. So sad seeing Ste lying about his relationship, so heartbreaking seeing how much Brendan was ready to tell the truth and then going away because he was so hurt. In my humble opinion: Ste & Brendan are truly in love with each other - body, mind, heart & soul!! Losing Brendan is going to affect Ste in a Seriously Negative way!

I pretty much didn't breathe this entire time. oh my god. I whole heartedly agree that Brendan NEEDS to tell Ste. And Ste needs to suck it up and admit that he's with Brendan... after the way Brendan has grown, he deserves it. Emmett is so unbelievably beyond words talented. I live in LA and apparently he's going to be coming here for a while. I hope that I get a chance to tell him that.

Brendan needs to open up to Ste as he did with Mitze, my heart broke in a million peaces when he started calling himself a freaky monster, and Ste is growing on my nerves, what kind of parent bribe their child to lie? sure Amy is gonna want their kids back and I can't blame her, after all Brendan was an ass to her, but keeping her in the dark would surely make things infinitely worse, and poor Brendan he was in dire need of a hug and what he gets is another reason to feel more insecure.

When Brendan was doing his times tables, Mitzeee said oh my god and the music picked up in the background, that was a brilliant moment. The bit where Brendan was peeking around the door was so sad, he was so innocent and scared. This episode was so well done. I'm going to miss Brendan :(

i'm so happy that Brendan finally spoke his truth...just sad he didn't tell it to Ste. Ste has seen him at his worse, and has seen him at his best...why does he think Ste won't love him through this even more? i wouldn't be surprised if Mitzee lets the cat out the bag to Ste (accidentally), or when he actually tells Ste...Ste will tell him he already knew. as far as Ste telling Leah to keep the secret, he's just looking for a way to tell Amy. we all know Amy isn't fond of Brendan...

Brendan trusts Mitzeee. Mitzeee kept his biggest secret back when hiding his sexuality was top priority for Brendan and they developed a special relationship that's based (strangely enough) on honesty about who they are. I'm not surprised that he told her before telling Ste.

He does think highly of her, that is the only reason he told her. He has told her he cares about her and that's why she listens to him. We all see that Ste loves him but that is just it. just because someone loves you it makes it harder to tell them. how do you share something like that? Mitzee is a friend but Ste is someone he loves. he may know he done bad things but brendan is still human and as such can still be scared of simple things we all share.

My Pleasure! I can't think of any other actors besides Emmett who would've been able to portray Brendan in such an impressive way - esp. the darker aspects of him. I think for a romantic story to be truly engaging, the characters have to challenge each other: such as the fact of Brendan's hitting Ste to balance/develop the changes in Kieron's portrayal of Ste who was abusive to Amy previously. Nice to hear from a fellow fan in Italy (I'm in Africa).

it is not a matter of being rational. it is harder to tell someone who loves you, trust me. we can see it but to Brendan, tell someone something as horrible as that and all the other thoughts that comes along with it and issues to deal with.

Emmett was screwed over! He should have won the award! My best friend & ex-boyfriend were both molested as children. I've seen their emotional issues shown accurately & powerfully by Emmett on the show & his portrayal of a conflicted gay man, considering that Emmett is straight! Being gay: I respect heterosexual actors with the courage to play gay roles. Emmett does it brilliantly! Esp. the "Irish-Catholic" guilt/bad-boy thug with an image to uphold. It's gonna suck when he leaves Hollyoaks :(

Brenden was asked to lie by his father over and over and over again, threatened. I am sure he was hit with double wammy hearing Ste tell Leah to lie and also that the lie was about he and Ste's relationship. I like Doug's new attitude as well, but he is up to something. So glad Brendan told someone & Ann's reaction was the right thing to do she cried for him as We All have been For Months. Telling someone Anyone is a step in the right direction. I can imagine Mitzy seeing Shamus sitting on a park bench with his hand on Charlies leg When Ann walks by, sees that and gets Charlie away from him , takes im to his family and tells them Why they need to keep that "Man" away from Young Boys !
