At 40:55 you had inquired about an Amtrak engineer named Clark. His name was Herbie Clark and worked for The New Haven, Conrail, and Amtrak retiring after 55 years of service in 1996. He passed away in 2010, and his son works for Amtrak as an engineer. Great video and channel!

@JoseRamirez-mg4pn Жыл бұрын
@@acelakid94 Hey man so to answer your questions, I made the Switch because believe it or not I lived all the way in CT at the time Keolis was the only railroad that hired me on as an Assistant Condcutor so I took the opportunity, at the same time I drove two hours (4 in total) to and from work everyday with Keolis as I lived in CT. So the last few months amtrak hired me and I made the switch for the better I now am out of the new york crew base. and to answer your second question Yes I still did go to Delaware but I am not certified not as an AC cause your just an AC, but as a Conductor you need to be Certified and qualified for whichever territory or segment you train on that's a whole different story. in my personal opinion I was very lucky to start off passenger and end with a better passenger agency ass opposed to doing freight than doing passenger but everyone starts off somewhere haha.

How come this is the only railway to open the least amount of cars and doors possible on off peak trains? How come they only allow passengers to ride in the car with the drivers cab at the end during morning peak hours? How come other railways don't have such restrictions?

On an accident that I investigated, passengers were brough in to the trial and the engineer was given 90 days on the street and the company paid a price for the accident. I reminded you a year or so before. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU DO, YOU COULD PAY A PRICE FOR THIS.....
