My whole life I have been searching and asking priests why I had these wonderful, mind boggling, experiences of God and his holiness. Since I was a child to my 60’s. I couldn’t explain but I knew for sure this is Gods glory. Fr. Rohr has finally given me a name.

Be careful Monica. This man sounds like a mystic, new age believer. Are you talking about Holy Spirit experiences? Perhaps you could explain. Bless you

Disciple_of_Jesus let me explain one experience. As a child I had God as a imaginary friend. Then he showed himself and I realized God was real. And I have never stopped praising and worshiping him. Father Rohr is talking about a bond with God. He calls them mystic to give them a name. Priests couldn’t explain this relationship and experiences I had. Some might say it is of evil but evil wouldn’t bring me closer to Jesus it would try to do the opposite

@@monicachavez7420 Thank you Monica. I do not know what kind of an imaginary friend you had. Satan too can portray as angel of light. The idea that we worship God can mean different things to different people sister. Let me show you. When Mormons say they believe in 'God' they mean one of many god they believe in. Jesus for them is brother of devil. When Jehovah's witness say they believe in Jesus, for them Jesus is son of God but not God Himself. It's the same with this person Rohr. According to him, Jesus is a celestial being. That belief system comes from the east. I've listened to some of his teaching. He is clearly a new age believer, not a Christian who believe in the Bible alone. One of this gentleman's fan is a friend of mine, a catholic priest who is gay. They don't know what the Bible is and are never born again. John 3:5 says clearly, unless you are born again, nobody will go to heaven. So, the choice is yours sister. You too can meet Jesus today, and receive the Holy Spirit and be born again. I met Jesus on 20th Sept 2014 at 11:30 am. It's been an amazing journey. Now we teach others how to get there and be born again. We only use the Bible. King James version of the Bible. Nothing else. Seek the Lord sister. If we can be of any help, let us know. Bless you.

Disciple_of_Jesus thank you for your words of Jesus whom I love. I have a spiritual guide who is a blessing to me. He leads priest in counsel and is a spiritual director of a hermitage dedicated to our Lord Jesus. One of his many jobs in aiding the Catholic Church is to seek out and prosecute priest who have harmed children. He has dedicated his life to Jesus. We only refer to scripture. I am quick to renounce Satan and his awful demons. Jesus is God. He is my Lord and Savior. 💕💕💕

Thank you, Father. I had a mystical, experiential moment a few months back after mental and emotional breakdown and rock bottom. I won't say I understand mysticism, but I know I feel that connection. Breathing underwater helped massively, by the way. I love being Catholic (Adiult convert in England after RCIA) and now walk the Mystical tradition the best I can ODAAT.

Fr Rohr is a wonderful human being and a true scholar. I can't speak to his theology, you could probably contact him yourself-we simply interviewed him for the video. But all I have read suggests that he is not simply a literal thinker, and he is not small-minded or petty.

Yes... because: faith is the assurance of things hoped for.... faith is the conviction of things that are not seen... only Jesus can give us the assurance of things hoped for and the conviction of things that are not seen... unity with Jesus is the thing that we have hoped for... we have dared to believe that Jesus is within us... Jesus gives us assurance of his realness by a direct experience of his presence within us... it is thus that scripture is validated personally and comes alive for us.

Be careful. Mysticism is an eastern religious idea of satanic powers. I cast out demons, and I know what I am talking about. You don't need mystic demonic spirits when you can receive the Holy Spirit! End of !

@One with Creation Ooops. I am not a Roman catholic! Instead, read the NKJV Bible. You will see. It says 'blind will see, and those who see will be blind'. Indeed. I was blind, and now I see. Just reading the Book and obeying it the Holy Spirit did all the work. Beautiful. Come and experience. Seek, and you surely would find. I did. Bless you.

The two experiential gifts a person can be given are 1. Theophany of the Spirit of Truth which is also a revelation of the Divine Word. 2. The Beatific Vision which as Richard says is Jesus and the Father yet Jesus does not overwhelm the gifted person with His exalted status he speaks as to a friend. The word i would use regarding the Spirit of Truth is *Other* and with the beatific vision not non-dual nut *One* Before someone sees the Beatific Vision he must come before the Divine Word, judgement is *Revelation* because Speaking in Jesus Christ the Divine Word said *No-one can come to the Father but by me* so Jesus being One (Non-dual) with the Father is not available until judgment is over.

This is why only apostles or prophets should be teaching these things cause you monks and mystic don't understand the Word and why you come to the conclusion of non-duality which is a warp concept of understanding. Most of you if asked "did Jesus of Nazareth save you?" Would probably say I'm being saved in process, that's because you do not know him. Anyone can say "Jesus is a Lord" too those who say Jesus is Lord! (meaning the pinnacle of Lords) are truly blessed and are a sibling in Christ. Sorry the reality is the monks and mystics are in the same boat as buddhas, hindu priest and muslims mystics they can only experience what God show them and only to the ones that God reveals himself to are the ones that get the full picture. You should confess your sins and do not tread these water again if giving permission by God, you clearly have been shown that God has not granted you to discuss these types of topics. With love and kindness I Hope this helps.

_It is good to guard the secrets of the king but glorious to proclaim the works of God_ Unfortunately the Council of Trent and its holding it's Deposit of Faith as Sacred with its rebuff to the Spirit of Truth saying *We have no need of Revelation we have Jesus Christ* puts anyone who is given Revelation in the same boat as *Arius* the Church will try to kill him. Yet they do not have Jesus Christ unless they can pass the Spirit of Truth by, he is an obstacle to triumphalist theology because he says *No-one can come to the Father but by me*
