Love your vids! At 6:51 there’s a way to make the tubes round you just have to edit the primitive before validating so just first set the sub division to like 2 and then make tube topology to 4 and it will make like a rounded end with its shape depending on the tube topology number. You can also play with constant density toggled off to get the ends better, works for all other primitives too like cube etc.

ooh, I can't wait to experiment with this! I do get confused with those primitive settings, but i'm a master at fiddling around until I get the desired effect! Thanks for the tips!! :)

Thanks man! It's incredible how much detail needs to go into it when you just look at the 2D drawing. I love the challenge, so much fun. Editing this one down to under 3 mins was a doozy tho...😅

Gawwrrsssh uh-huk. Too cute. Was wondering if you have any tips out plans to do tutorials on painting models in side procreate? Would love some of those thrown in. ❤

I tried that early on and really had a hard time with it! I may try to figure out how to do it with a UV image map, that could be cool 👍🏾

Hey... Curiously.. what is the benefit of modelling a character fully in place? As opposed to modelling the character (or Goofy, in this case,) in an A or T pose, rigging it & then having the freedom to pose it either, as you did here or then allowing you to freely manipulate it for future renders or even animation?

It seems to me, if you’re putting that much time & effort into the model.. it would be nice to be able to make changes to it or use it as an asset.. like, say Disney wanted to make an animation using this model you did here, would they even be able to animate it?

I come from being a traditional artist, and creating 2D art for the pure enjoyment of creating. Same with digital art. And now 3D. I enjoy sculpting, and enjoy an image that is 3D and can light. Think of it as a motorcycle driver wondering why people still ride bicycles. I may decide to purchase the hardware and learn the process of taking sculpts to the next level some day, but one person creating a 3D animation is a massive amount of work, and a whole other skills set that requires far more expensive system and programs. 👍🏾

Nice, but it would have been more nice if you created a 3D model of one of the kids from Mickey's Fun Songs: Beach Party at Walt Disney World, probably Caitlin Wachs.
