They do a great job, but I don't like how restricted some joints are. I mean, what's the point of adding chest and waist articulation if they barely move?

I always use acrylic paints, but you need to apply a plastic primer first and some clear finish after you painted everything. The only way to damage it is to scratch the surface with something, but I never had any problems, at least so far.

Yes, you can buy a physical copy but I must warn you that it's not cheap. Alternatively you could buy the stl files for 3D printing but they're pretty useless if you don't own a 3D printer.

I wish I could, but I'm not sure. Making a whole figure is not something you do by snapping your fingers. It requires weeks of work, even a month, if you can't work every day on the project. And since I don't have much free time to spend designing figures, I have to choose wisely which character to make. It has to be worth it.

No. You need to hand paint it yourself. You can print the model using some different base colors, but you can't actually print details and stuff. I wish 3D printing was a magic wand, but it isn't. 😅

Se sono pezzi piccoli e dettagliati, in genere io li dipingo senza levigarli, perché levigando parti così piccole si rischia di far saltare i dettagli più piccoli ed è un incubo da fare. In genere, per dipingerle, basta un primer acrilico per plastica, poi puoi decidere se verniciare ad aerografo o a pennello, ma sempre con colori acrilici. Volendo puoi anche usare le vernici spray, ma dipende da cosa devi fare e dal risultato che vuoi ottenere. Volendo, prima di passare i primer, potresti anche dare prima una mano di Stucco spray, per coprire un po', le righe della stampa. In ultimo, puoi dare qualche mano di spray sigillante trasparente con la finitura che vuoi, quindi lucida, opaca, ecc...

High-quality prints require more time than usual. It mostly depends on the material, the orientation of the parts, and their complexity. Generally, to reduce print time, you could try printing at a higher layer height like 0.2/0.3. Anyway, a higher layer height means fewer details.
