Chris, your hardware videos gave me the confidence to tackle modifications myself, your firmware videos enabled me to mess around with marlin and realise it's not that hard to understand, but these types of videos are my favourite, using 3D printing to make useful things.

@02:09 Oof... I usually print functional parts upside-down with the intent of them picking up the surface finish of the powder coated Springsteel bed as an optical highlight and shit like that would drive me _nuts_ ( well... _would_ doesn't quite cut it... it _absolutely_ does which is why I now have a 2nd Springsteel bed for my Voron 🤣 )

Sweet. I have a black Craftsman trip deck tool box for my mechanical tools. Right now my sockets are in two of the upper drawers. Once I get my ender back up and running, my 300 x 300 bed should be able to print up some nice trays. Maybe I’ll move them down to a taller drawer THANK YOU MY FRIEND

one tip... When you are modeling for 3d printing you don't just randomly throw 3mm for a wall... You need to make sure that that wall width is divisible by your desired extrusion line width. If you are extruding 0.4 layer width, 3.2mm will give you a faster print and better strenght, since the slicer don't need do to half width extrusions (considering your part is solid). Same concept aplies to the height. I greatly improved my models overall quality and accuracy by following this principle. Better, faster, stronger... Great Video

Chris, this was the reason bought a 3D printer, or at least I told my wife that. I have 2 of Craftsman boxes (40 years of neglect ) that size I am combining into a bigger tool box. You have inspired me that simple and easy is ok.

If you see the future as some of us do then 3d modeling is the one thing that will be more important than 3d printers one day. We are evolving and not towards the typical FDM printer or SLA vat style printers. What wont be going away is 3d modeling. You have been a huge help to the community, myself included. Thanks again for all you do.

HAH, looks just like my tool drawers, this is something I need to do as well. Nice job on the trays, the only thing I would have done differently is put the red tray at the back of the drawer due to it's height and that it is to contain the lesser-used sockets.
