Hi Joel! You should "save settings" after the ESteps setting, or it will reset after you turn off the machine. High five!

Som 5 years later and I decided to try out the MOARstruder on my TAZ 6. It is really cool. I have multiple 3D Printers and I do a lot of robotic, Arduino or Raspberry, and at times I want something REALLY quick to prototype. I then do down to the typical .4 toolhead with the 2.85mm filament. Or I use one of my other printers with 1.75mm, Sindoh DP200, Snapmaker 2.0 A350, or a crazy machine I have that nearly no one has, Dobot MOOZ 2, which is limited to rather small parts, small build plate. Funny thing is that the Dobot MOOZ 2 is a much better printer than most people give credit to. Anyway, my favorite printer is the TAZ 6. Cheers.

Taz 6 is an absolutely beautiful printer, and mechanically I believe it's the pinnacle of modern consumer grade fdm printers, but $2,500? I don't think so. That is 3 Prusa mk 3's. Material costs may differ slightly, but I bet their R&D budgets were similar. I just don't see a justification for the price, I see a cashgrab.
@you_just4 жыл бұрын
Nick Heyer yikes. At that point you could get a Mk. 3 with all the upgrades, plus a set of ruby nozzles, whatever build surface you want, and then throw in a Sidewinder or CR-10 just for fun.

Why is the lulzbot so expensive? What different does it do compared to something like a cr-10? Yeah I know it auto levels, but that isn't worth the 1500$ trade off.
@3DPrintingNerd7 жыл бұрын
+Sensei Dekkers this is something you should contact Lulzbot about.
@senseidekkers56187 жыл бұрын
You don't have any thoughts why?
@3DPrintingNerd7 жыл бұрын
+Sensei Dekkers well, sort of. It's rigid and well built in the US, easy to assemble, open source hardware and software are used and libre innovation is involved, and support is constantly wonderful. Whether or not that's worth the extra price is up to the buyer, not me. The machine is suppose to be nearly headache free and print anything with ease. I don't know if those are the right answers but it's what I have on a Saturday night. :)
@senseidekkers56187 жыл бұрын
No that makes sense. Sorry if I was coming off as rude. I was just curious that's all :) If the support is good and they are made in america, then i can see how it is worth 2500$
