Yes, why not? My first cpu was Amd sempron 3400+ 1.8ghz single core and i used it on renderings ( of course it takes a hours to finish job but works) That was when i start learning 3ds max many years ago 🙂. Any processor can make a good job but it deppends of its abbilities ( more cores, higher ghz) render faster 👍
