This is the real deal. I have absolutley zero knowledge in 3DMAX and your tutorials are wonderful. I pruchased a course on Udemy which seemed amazing and promised that it's for absolute begginers, but once I started the course they did not even teach me the basics or the UI of the software. Explaining the UI and how to start a command are the key to learning and mastering any program. When the tutors are going to finally teach something from absolue zero??? Thank you.

FYI: At least with 3ds Max 2023.2.2 Alt+Q brings you in AND out of isolation mode again. Don't know when they put it back in, but it works now again.

Great videos - thank you! The shortcut ALT q is the same for getting in and out of Isolate mode - just toggle it.

Amazing work. Lots of effort. Im grateful to be your student but i just would like to point out that it would be nicer to know about containers and groups in this tutorial. And also alt+click in content list would be a great thing to teach! But i would have never learned anything if it wasnt for you!

Thank you so much for your in-depth video. When I press my mouse wheel, it doesn't enter the pan mode. So, I had to turn it on from the bottom right pan view button in 3Ds Max. Can you please explain why this is happening?

hello at 7min how do you undo an action? i do cntrl z and it doesnt erase what i do--how to i un activate the 4 arrow icon the slect and place? i just want to start from the start to make the box cuz i made errors and i cant undo the select and place

Hello... Wondering if there is a database setup similar to Maya that Max requires? I.e., folders called Assets, Images, Movies, Sourceimages, Scenes, Sounds, etc.?

When you install 3DS Max, it creates the project folder inside your documents folder. This folder holds all the directories that you named. You can set individual paths under "customize" and configrue project path.

It is not the middle mouse button, but the mousewheel you need to press. If you don't have one, get another mouse
