The ‘snakes’ logo is a 6. It was from 3DS Max V6. I never understood why the kept it from 7 up until whenever. Been using Max since V2.

Have a question for the auto lights. Is it a light replacement only plug-in?. Or does it have some sore of a cookie cutter option.. I mean. When I have a ceiling that needs can reccest lights. I have to cut/boolean my ceiling with another object for my can lights to go in... Does this have a boolean option to cut my ceiling automatically?. I always use forest pack to place my lights in my ceiling. I tell forest pack to distribute as path/ vertex. Then I apply all my lights along the spline, then I make a material with a distance Tex which I plug that onto the opacity node, and apply that to the object that will make the cut on my ceiling, instead of using boolean.. Hope that makes sense.. Thank you and cheers

Hi Eloi, I tried to install the razor plugin to 3ds max 2023 several times, but somehow it didn't work. after the installation I got the panel without any button in it, then I try to setup the hotkey and my max froze. May I ask if you have any solution for this? it was the razor v1.061. Thank you.

In india we don't get paid enough for 3d related works. People are just surviving here. People with more than 8-10 years experience are also getting only around 18k $ here per annum .wheras in usa IT software enginner and a 3d artist gets around same amount of salary 100k-125k. So, i fed up with the low salary system here in india. i am qutting 3d and learning codeing to get more salary job. what to do no other options.Anyone has to say something on this?

Low salary in india is just for 3d? I have more and more indian collegues. They moved to montreal/vancouver, if you can, moving with your family can be the best solution.

@@andvfx Eastern European here and damn I would literally become homeless in Montreal/Vancouver, I can't simply imagine how would I be able to freelance to afford a studio rent there as 3D Generalist. Even here the rent is $100/mo for 1 bedroom apartment, utility bills around $150/mo so ~$500/mo total and still it's a struggle. Either I have to grind on crappy jobs like boring product renders on white bg or find some big company gigs once or twice a year if lucky, however on another hand it seems that youtube, game streaming and such is becoming the real deal so doing work like youtube thumbnails or animated stream screens for streamers/youtubers can be a temporary goldmine until AI generation ends it. There's already few ppl making a fortune of that ( $100K+ annually while working probably just few hours a day on average ) and competition is low.

@@ExacoMvm the idea if you go to montreal/vancouver is that you will do freelance or work there, getting paid as is expected there. Being able to leave, and save money. With eventually coming back to your country and if you keep the contacts getting paid much more than you are paid now.
