This question is not related and would be better in a private message than in a comment but when ever you are using Render to Texture to bake lighting effects such as shadows, you have to be sure that your UVs are not overlapping as they would if you modeled one side of the object and use symmetry to copy it over. In the UV Unwrap modifier, click on edit/tools/render and make sure the "overlapping in red" checkmark is checked so see if your UVs are overlapping.

whenever I render to texture and object one side always has too much shadow. I am trying to make mesh clothing for game engine and I really do not want all the shadow on one side. Sometimes for no reason I will get both sides look ok. The render window will sometimes show the image with one side dark and the saved taga file might sometimes show both sides clear with fine shadow and sometimes the image is blurred. Help please!

Why is it bad to have all polygon points meeting in the one position?
