Louis, I gotta thank you for this review. I ended up ordering a pair of these. Got them today. The fitment on them is spot on what you said. I usually wear a 10.5 vans slip on and I got these in 10. They fit perfectly. They are stiff as boards right now but I am sure they will break in nicely. Thanks for this review and mentioning how they fit. Big thumbs up.

I have them and I love them so sick! I also had the ultra all black ones they lasted me approx 5-6 years and I bowl quite a bit…so had to get these! My Tour Ultra C’s came in on Tuesday, I bowled in my league Wednesday and shot my 2nd 300! It’s gotta be the shoes! Haha, but all seriousness I pre-ordered mine and they do run a 1/2 size too big but I already knew that so just be sure to order half a size down. Great informative video Luis!

I have the previous generation of the Tour Ultras in Silver/Blue/Black. Absolutely love them. Have stayed with the default slide sole on them for pretty much every house I bowl at locally. However, I do change both the soles and heels for things like Nationals when USBC makes the approaches super tacky. Enjoy those shoes, man!

3G Bowling Shoe Adjust A Heel is a great option to adjust the heel slide as well. Along with the cleated sole gives a ton of great options for slide.

You went with the better choice in my opinion I bought the Dexter SST 6’s and literally tried them once and they honestly didn’t compare to my 3G Tour Ultra’s (all black) so I knew I couldn’t go wrong ordering these and i was super happy when mine arrived Tuesday(I pre-ordered mine). Man what an awesome shoe, the kangaroo leather is super comfortable. Plus they don’t cheap out like Dexter has been as of late.

Luis, that is great the 3Gs are finally being released. I have an old pair of DT (Dynathane) which are the same as 3Gs and need a new pair of shoes as mine are 20 years old. I believe they will also come in black/white….Belmo wore a pair a few weeks ago. Thanks for doing a review.

I've been wearing KR Strikeforce for a little over a year now. I really like them. They replaced my Etonic E-Tour Masters, which I liked as well. I was leaning the Dexter route as my new pair, but I think it is crap that you have to buy all the soles and heels individually. That would have put them over $100 more than the KRs.

I have had a few pairs of interchangeable sole shoes already because of how much I bowl. I tore up the Brunswick TPU-X in only 8 months. I then got the 3G Tour Ultras, and I had them for 3 years. I’ve since gone through the Sport Ultras, Dexter SST6 BOAs, and now THE 9’s. My favorite has to go to the SST6’s however.

Damn! If I was in the market for shoes, these would be my #1 choice. I had an old pair of sst8s that came with all of the slide soles. Wasn't aware Dexter stopped doing that when I got the 9s colorshift. Love em, but feels cheap that they didn't include the extra soles.

Currently have the Dexter 9 Colorshift BOAs and love them. Did not like the split THE7 slide sole that came with them. Went a little slicker to the S8. It’s nice that 3G provides options with the shoes. My 9’s were extremely expensive and came with less.

Just got a new pair of hammer razor's to replace my 25+ year old shoes I have been using since high school. Although the new shoes are much more comfortable they are taking some major getting used to for slide. I am used to having leather slide soles on both shoes and lower friction heels. The newer shoes are higher friction for sure which made me really uncomfortable at first. I put a slicker slide sole on which has helped, but the heel is stickier than I like and it's not replaceable like the ones you reviewed. Hoping over time I can get used to the new feel. You never realize how important shoes are until you change what you're used to.

I recently got the regular 3g tour in black. Didn’t come with all the accessories but that’s ok I’m pretty happy with the stock configuration which never happens. Definitely run a tick large but I feel like when I wear a slightly larger sock during the upstate NY winter months they’re perfect. My summer super thin athletic sock not so much. Wish they came in a 9 and 3/4 lol I am typically a 10. Thanks for the review, love the channel.

Thank you for a shoe video. I been looking for a good pair I am just starting to getting into some tournaments and all the approaches from house to house is so different. I like to slide and my current Dexters are not interchangeable and I need to use the slide cover that goes over them and they wear out fast and are not consistent as they wear. I noticed some of the Dexters SST 6 and a few 8's come with more than the 9's. I did hear the 8's was not made as good as the 9s but now I have a few more options. Thanks for this video. I for one sure want to see more video's like this and even maybe some bag reviews. Every bowler needs shoes and bags. I would also like to see a review on the types of thumb tapes and the advantages from the different textures and how they affect your release. Anything that can help me improve my game I am down to see.

Are these new Tour Ultra C's kangaroo leather? I have the black/blue/silver tour ultras I got about 3 years ago. They still look like they just came out of the box. Honestly, I can't say they are better than the Dexter's cause I never had a pair of them, but when I researched both of them the 3G's won out because of all the extra soles/heels that came with it and they were kangaroo hide. Kangaroo is MUCH softer and 'already broke in feel' than cowhide and will last just ask long. I do two league nights per week as well as some local tournaments here and there. You are correct that they are the best bang for the buck with all the extra soles and heels. Also, IF you need a sole that is in between or outside the stuff 3G gives you, you can still buy a dexter sole and cut it to fit since dexter still has way more sole options. The cleat system is great but you fine tune it to one house and then go to another house for a tourney and do you really have that much time to figure out a different cleat pattern with the 15 mins of warm up they give you? No. So the solid soles tend to work better for me; although I tend to find that I change heels more than I do soles for my slide game, but to each their own. The only negative that I have about the shoe is that I wish there was a bit more insole padding inside the shoe (and dr shoals and the like just take up too much room inside). They can be a little hard on the feet if you tend to stand more than sit between frames and you're bowling long blocks. Other than that, I love my Tour Ultras!

@@LuisNapoles I’ve tried to find someone to fix them to no avail. I scour ebay weekly to try and fine new ones. Has to be the old school style with the gum rubber with leather tip on the push shoe.

Are the 3g narrow? I have chubby but small feet. Torn 6 pairs of sst8 already but they don't fit well. Always wanna try 3g but not sure about the sizing
