@@davidwidick1218 What kind of startup issues? I have coldstartup problems on low temperatures below 100 deg F but I'm on a hot track with Initial adder vs ECT multiplier table in Fuel -> Open loop

Have to slightly crack the throttle on startup and hold it there till it stablizes after that it idles fine. Worse on cold start. It has a BTR stage 3 N/A cam with 243 heads JBA shorty headers and cat deletes (California Car) Engine is fresh with time things have gotten better. I need to get it to the dyno but waiting on my tranny to come back after losing the 2nd and forth gear. I’ve also had issues with HPTuners and my wideband talking to each other so been shooting in the dark just got the pro set this week so I’m hoping that issue is resolved. I’m still pretty new to this all. Ive tuned my brother cammed Silverado and that thing screams.

@@davidwidick1218 Ah ok, sunshell fucked up? Try these out. Lower the initial adder vs ect on the temps below 100 deg F 50%, raise the friction initial about 2g/s the whole range, also the start up initial 1g/s. delay on these tables at the low temperatures from 4 to 8 cam revs. Maybe this works similar to my car? Give it a shot ;-) My car was flooded with fuel with stock numbers, I could smell it through closed windows. I'm also new to HP Tuners. Hope to learn that stuff with this channel.

We need to get You something with some big ass billet atomizers on it to teach us about. Went from a perfectly running car on 110 with 60# dekas controlled by Terminator x (went 6.5 at 107mph at 12psi boost with a 12,800’ DA)... and went to e85 with some 205pph billet atomizers with Holley Hp.. it boy it’s a hot mess! These big injectors don’t play nice

So realistically, how much HP can you get out of tuning a stock engine set-up. For example, I got a 2002 5.3 truck motor, and all I did was add a LS1 (.470/.480) cam with free flowing exhausts. I fiddled a little with the power enhancement and idle. Stock turbo 350 trans/3000 stall. I am asking because if all I can get is 20 extra HP, then I am going to concentrate on power adders, then tune for that scenario if you follow me. Thanks for your help.

I'm new to tuning and I have an 06 Silverado 5.3 with long tube headers and a cheap cold air intake. Got the HPT MPVI2 and have been diving in watching as many tuning vids as possible. I've made some "base tune" changes from other KZbinrs stuff like torque management and fuel enrichment (I guess impatiently wanting to feel quick results). The more of your content I watch the more I realize you really know you're stuff, I do have a AEM 30-0300 wideband setup coming from Amazon and serial to USB connectors so I can do it right. So my question is should I go back to the factory file and start fresh from the beginning or just go from where I'm at now?

In the editor where do you find the eq cmd'd? Have the stoiqh fixed but in scanner shows 14.7 afr cmd'd but still showing 14.6 in eq cmd'd.

Since we're here, I just wanted to ask if someone can explain what is the ETC Area Scalar, in Engine -> Idle -> Airflow? I'm struggling with the start on my cam swapped F-Body with full drive-by-wire C5 engine. I have a BBK 80mm TB, and standard in this field stands 0.0255. I raised it to 0.0355 and the car starts better with friction initial raised about 2g/s on the whole range. I'm testing actualy out if 0.0305 is working, but I don't understand this numbers in correlation to anything. Got the C5 P01 PCM since engine swap in 2013 including 243s and 02 z06 cam. worked without issues. Trouble with cold start started 2018 with cam swap to ws6store highlift hotcam 218/227 .600 .600 114+5
