Was motivated by this video to complete this mod. The center counsel and the 4x4 dial were the toughest to square away. I hate chrome and decals. This has made my black on black scheme complete. Thanks for the great step by step brother.

Good video,Thanks for posting.Just a suggestion,invest in a set of plastic or nylon trim tools from some place like Harbor Frieght. Will be a lot gentler on your dash than a screwdriver.

Sorry bro, you are wasting your time. I replaced the cup holder without removing the center console. Just pull out the trim piece and replace with the new one. Like replacing the overhead map light bulb, no need to remove the overhead console just replace the bulb and map light. Overall, making this more difficult than necessary. Since I did not post the video, you rock. I love these videos. Meso products are absolutely the best. Thank you for posting.

I can confirm this, every tab except the 4x4 cap can be just pulled right off and do it carefully especially if youre not using plastic trim removal tools

LoL... I had to laugh; unless someone is going to keep that cupholder trim piece for some reason, all that time & effort can be saved by just snapping it out and popping in the new one.

I saw another videos where all the trim can come off from the push to start and 4x4 knob from the outside with a pick tool no need to take the dash apart

Just got a 2021 and the chrome ring on the ac vent reflects into the side mirror both passenger and driver side. Just annoying enough for me to want to change it. Thanks for the video and how to.

I followed the video, great job..however I must have done something wrong..my 4x4 button is loose, no notchy feel when shifting from 2wd, 4H, or 4L..If I just randomly touch it when pressing the start button it just easily slides into 4H..What did I do? lol
