Versus Series | Lady vs. Trish vs. Lucia

For this Versus Series match I will be attempting to pull of my very first triple threat match as I will be pitting all 3 of Dante's females allies against each other. In a battle royal to see if either Lady from DMC3, Trish from DMC1 or Lucia from DMC2 would walk away the winner.

Trish usually wields the Sparta sword when Dante doesn't need it. That's her close and mid range combat weapon.

Some errors in this comparison.... Trish does have Devil Trigger... the creators said though it might not change her appearance. She also has Sparda, as seen in DMC 4. Gloria was also a costume... it doesn't give her extra abilities... it just hides her identity....

Trish is my personal favorite. In Devil May Cry 4, she uses Sparda in a cool combination with bare knuckle. Lady's not as interesting. She just uses guns. Lucia...I don't know about her. I haven't really played Devil May Cry 2.

Ah this makes sense :D Lucia is well balanced, but both Trish and Lucia are full demons. While I think all the characters are cool, I think, with more experience, Lucia would definitely catch up to Trish. Lady is an awesome fighter, she's still human. She's limited in strength and stamina, but there's no doubting how impressive she is. Her arsenal is impeccable and she can hold her own for sure, but she'd probably go down first in a fight. Now between Trish and Lucia- it's true that Trish seems to fight differently based on which persona she's embodying, so I think it would be fair to say that she could definitely be at a disadvantage in terms of combat style and tactics. In terms of brute strength though, she's unmatched by Lucia. However, Trish doesn't have a devil trigger, as it was never confirmed to be cannon, so in that respect, she's at a disadvantage. I seriously think that in a 3 person fight, Lucia could probably win unless the other girls focused on taking her out first. But if she were reintroduced to the game and shown to have more experience and battle prowess, I think she could definitely win.

I kind of agree with this. Lady, no matter how good she is, is still human, and there are limits that humans have, no matter how good they are. As for Trish, well her battle styles in her normal form and Gloria form might have been great if it was one on one, but since she was fighting two people who were use to the opposite style (Lady being good with distance fights and Lucia with close range), it meant that in order to get an advantage on one, she would need to lose and advantage on another. Now i do think that Lucia might have lost it was right after DMC 4, since A. Dante would most likely tell them about her or they would have met her, and B. Lady and Trish would have reach a level of skill to the point where they could deal with her no problem. But still, this was a great video. Also, i was hoping to ask, but would you consider doing a Vs. of Cloud Strife and Dart Field down the line?

Why would you use star wars styles for characters that have established styles already. You can't even apply these to Trish ( since didn't Include the Sparta sword.) And Lady that uses guns with bayonets.

you forgot to mention Trish's main weapon in DMC4 sparda and in DMC4 she has her own special trigger that gives her alot of enhanced lightning-based attacks

I mostly agree on this, especially that Lady falls first, because she is just human after all but also because Trish would have beaten her with ease in the anime, if she hadn't hold herself back. But i also think that she would have held herself back at the beginning. When she was going to fight with Vergil and Dante in DMC3 she was young and reckless, but the Anime shows her to have grown in that field. She was letting Dante handle demons, while she stood back and watch, so i think she would rather let Trish and Lucia fight first, to determine, what kind of threat Lucia is. But in the end, even with over 10 years of experience i doubt that she could win against either Trish or Lucia. The thing with Trish is, that she has Sparda. You could see her picking it up in DMC4 (the normal version as well as fighting with it in the special edition) and if you look closely at Glorias Dagger it looks pretty similar to sparda. I think it can transform in more than just a scythe. So yeah, i think Trish is able to use Spardas Power in some way. Also Gloria is just a disguise, her melee skills don't improve, while she's Gloria, but in this scenario it doesn't really matter. As for Lucia i think her beating Trish highly depends on the time she uses her Devil Trigger, if she uses it right away, she could maybe even use it two times. I think she could win against a hurt Trish but i honestly think that Trish would attack her first, while lady trys to hold herself out of it, till she knows more. So in the End, i think Trish would win.

Coming from your analysis of Vergil Vs Sephirot, I expected more. Trish is not an hybrid, you can say that she is an artificial full demon created by mundus with her default appearance modeled after Eva, but that's it. She also has the devil trigger ability, though like other full demons in the series, when activated she does not change her phisical appearance but gets an electricity aura and wears her signature glasses. Just play on Dante Must Die mode and you can see that even weaker demons can access devil trigger, which give them a significant boost in resistance, speed and damage. Bosses also get new aura effects in DMC4 when they activate their devil trigger even if they've activated their desperation mode. Even if you count DMD difficulty as "non-canon", there are many istances where devil trigger could be activated by external means. For example there's a room in DMC3 where enemies are enhanced by some kind of spell and are forced in their DT state if you don't disable it before facing them, in any difficulty setting. Another example is The Haywire Neo-Generator in DMC3 forces the holder in a permanent DT state while draining its life energy in exchange. Another istance was when Arkham opened the hellgate Dante involutairly entered DT intermittently for a brief moment. There are many ways to enable DT even to people that don't naturally have access to it, hell even Nero cannot access it if he doesn't weild Yamato, even the highest officers of the order of the sword are humans enhanced by devil energy and can access to a DT state. I also don't agree with Trish being tied to Gloria to access to her dagger, Gloria is not a transformation, it's just a costume for disguisin herself. Also if she has access to Sparda she can easily do solo Lady and Lucia at the same time in my opinion. Lady is too much of a glass cannon and while capable of hurting Trish or Lucia, she doesn't have anything to really keep them away from her safely, they can just push through her attacks and incapacitate her in one simple hit and that's it. Lucia has not many feats to gauge how strong she could be compared to Trish, I think she's not even on DMC3 Dante's level honestly. I won't debate on the actual 1vs1vs1 matchup because there are so many things that could change the outcome, I'm more of a fan of duels honestly. Anyway I enjoyed the video so have an upvote, you show great commitment

Nice Video, but the edges were pretty much *Bullshit* if you ask me: In a Triple Threat: Lady have the Weapons, Have More Experience using Weapons, Knows how do Handle herself against Dante & Trish, Lady is *Not* High Headed, she is really smart to begin whit, she only run into the battle betwen Dante & Vergil cuz of her revenge was blinding her. Trish is the More Agile, has the more Destruction Powers, have the All Powerfull Weapon that is The Sparda Sword. Lady & Trish Both have a Huge Experience over Lucia, Lucia figthing Stronger Enemies didnt means that She will have the same Experience over the Pro, just that she knows how to handle herself. Lucia have the Devil Triger that is the Powerfull Power in this Battle, but it have a Time Limit of 10 seconds. In Martial Arts = Lady has shown that She knows a bit more than Trish & Lucia in Martial Arts, Trish geting Second Place cuz she disnt need her costume to use her Martial Arts ( Really?!?! were you on crack or something? ), Trish can use her Martial Arts mixed whit her Guns Syle, Costume or No Costume = It disnt Matter cuz if you know how to use these Skills of Martial Arts you can use them as you want ( For Example = Secret Agents use desgises everytime, did that afect there skills? *No* they still have it & know to use them, if they didnt use them means that they didnt wanted to. ) ---- The Battle will Begin like you said, but The Conclusion: Lucia will figth Great & Her Devil Triger migth be & be dificult to handle, but She will be the First one to go Down. Then is gana be betwen Lady & Trish in the End. But Something is telling me that Lady will come out as the Winner, but The Other is that Trish is gana end as The Winner thanks to her having The Sparda Sword + Having Powerfull Destruction Powers. If Lady have Prep Time, then *Yes* Lady will Beat Trish.

hold up this man cant just leave Lucia out the fight if its a fight to the death that's not how it works not only this he completely forgets about Trish who also has a devil trigger so why would Lucia win when her devil trigger dosnt even increase damage its a passive advantage however Trish would gain a massive damage boost not only this naturally her body would be surrounded by lightning so how can Lucia who only gets the passive advantage of a healing factor and stamina regent beat someone who is essensialy as fast as lighting is surrounded by it and all her attacks electrify
