Hello! I’m 50 with a broken hand. God bless my 80 year old mom, she is watching your videos, doing her best to do my hair 😉 My hair is very thick and long, so it’s a good challenge!!

Thank you so much. I have looked everywhere for quick videos that actually worked. I tried the pull through braid in the ponytail. I did it in one try. I drive a tow truck for a living and I need cute up dos. I have found it with your channel. Now if I can master the fish braid. Please keep up the great work.

I'm 45 and inherited my mother's everything, including her thin, fine, hair which stays knotty. I have never been one of those women who were good at hair, unless I'm doing someone else's. You've made it possible for me to make my own hair (which is also super long as well as fine and thin) cute for once. My husband actually notices I'm trying new things with my hair and he loves it. Thank you SO much!

I do love me a messy bun, but after watching a lifetime of you tube tutorials on getting the “perfect & easy” messy bun, I was about to give up because NONE OF THEM worked for me….until you!! So, THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH, I am actually able to do “the bun!!” Then went & watched a bunch more of your vids & you have a new fan & sub!! Your amazing & thank you again!!!

LOV this video> Finally a woman stylist that is real. Personally I hate salons. I have come home more that once feeling OMG I will never go to a salon again. In the Day i my youth I always wore my hair short even for my first when no one wore their hair short. Not pixie short but just covering my ears. Then I let grow and I was told my hair had great and was asked if I would like to be in stylists shows. I said Thanks but no Thanks Now I wear my hair long as in bra strap back length. I'M an oral cancer survivor (2 Xs Daily radiation and 15 sessions chemo) and had LOTS of radiation and chemo. I did have Very thick but for what ever reason my hair definitely thinned but no total loss. It seems that now the older I get the longer I wear my hair. CANNOT stand bangs I look at dome of the movie stars with their impaired due to long bangs and think better then than me. I LOV that you show how to stay sane without having to hit the salon every month. THANK YOU Most of us tough cookies really don't mind if you like you vision obscured or pixies are good if you like them but personally give me loose or pony tail. GREAT video. Much appreciated

I love the do's you show here and would love to create them on my head but I just can't get them to work. I'm way old and tired of high on the head ponytails. Also, fun fact, I'm 56 and hadn't used a boby pin until I started trying these videos. Even the simplest of ones don't work. Any suggestions for an old lady?
@nottechytutorials2 жыл бұрын
This guy shows different hair pins and how to use them. kzbin.info/www/bejne/raDNl6SKf7uJe7s Apparently the bobby pins people use you're not supposed to open them up when you push them through your hair, since that will make them want to slip out, instead you're just supposed to push them through your hair while they're closed. Because of this it means they can only grab a little bit of hair at a time, so you might have to use more than one. I didn't really like this so I went for u-shaped hair pins, which grab more hair, but it just depends on what you want, and how much practice you put it into.
@kathybray2838 Жыл бұрын
Also, for the hair styles described below, I used at least 4 long type hairpins to hold the front rolled bun flat to the top of my head. I used plain hair pins where needed and both longer& thicker open hair pins and the shorter thinner open hair pins to pin each section down as I went this creates a very neat and elegant style for those who do not like the messy look and is great for parties and special dances. Give yourself an hour to do these styles until you get used to doing your own hair. You will get faster, but these styles do take more time and hair pins . Have fun creating your own look. I only ever saw one other girl in college with real long hair who had a similar style as mine. Her hair was waist length and looked great too! 😊
