hey, I don’t normally comment, but I showed this video to my 10-year-old yesterday… He’s been going to guitar lessons and learning the way that you said you started out. The legit C, D, G.. after seeing this video, he was playing the song in 15 minutes. The first time he sang with his guitar was last night. You should have seen his face after he got done with the verse. I wish I had it on video so I could show you… You would have loved it. Anyway, awesome job dude… Keep up the great work! God Bless!!

Man.. thank you so much. I’ve been struggling with singing guitar and playing for over a year. I’m mainly a big 90s/2000s rock guy, so learning songs like that (for singing anyway) has been rough. But I watched this and it clicked. Starting with just downstrokes helped a ton. Thank you so much!!!
