I like your sufting technique. There is a lot of stone in that ground. You have some very good barn space!! And your little boy is very content watching on.

Thx, i had to give up because it was breaking my back! I can do many things as i am a plumber but digging always gets me backpain 😢. The stones we think are mostly from the little building where the top walls have collapsed. I have been piling them up so we can reuse them when we rebuild it. We are looking forward to spring so the little one can help us outside again, now it is difficult with all the rain we have been getting.

Please don't use cement to point the stones. It doesn't breath and then the inside stays damp with mold and mildew. If you can, use lime render to point the stones. It's breathable and lets moisture out.

Correct! In later videos you will see what we think about all the cement they put on everywhere 😂. Cement has its place when building but not everywhere like they did back in the day on these old buildings. We cant blame them though because they didn't know any better.

Phillippe, you might find it easier to have your sifter at an angle. So as you throw the spoil at it it slides down and through then you can easily shovel away the sifted earth from behind and the stone and any metal from the front. The smaller stone could be useful later on for drainage ditches. Your little shed is becoming a regular bricolage.

Good progress! It's going to be a beautiful home. Just for you to think about, but we used to let our chickents have the run of our large garden, just shutting them up in the coop at night. The fox took the whole lot one bright sunny day, in broad daylight. So keep an eye on them. That's obviously why the previous owners had fenced them in. But good luck nonethless.

Haha i will take your advice to heart. In one of the other videos you will be seeing me with a back brace 😅Every time i do manual digging i get back ache. It comes from my years as a plumber i guess.
