Popeyes Louisiana Chicken probably needs to rethink employee safety when taking out the trash at the end of the night. Taking out the trash at night is dangerous if safety measures aren't taken into account. One restaurant got robbed that way by a disgruntled ex-employee.

Worked at a 24 hour convenience store, graveyard shift, in my early 20s. NEVER very many customers and the ones we did get between midnight and 7 am were usually cops. I'm mopping near the coolers when I hear the door bell and see a guy walk in. Kind of tall, satin looking style jacket, dark hair, dark skin, kindda good looking. Gave the usual greeting and made my way to the register as he walked back to the hotdog roller and soda fountain. I waited....and waited.......and waited........and began to wonder where he was. I look around the corner of the cashier's pit to ask if he needed help finding something and he wasn't there. I grabbed the mini bat I kept under the register in case of emergency situations and I cleared the entire store. Every aisle, the stock coolers, the storeroom. He was just GONE. He'd have had to go directly in front of me to get out of the store because if he'd gone out the fire escape, the alarm would have gone off. But he never walked by me from any direction to leave. Makes it even creepier knowing to get into the cashier's pit, I had to walk right by him, so I KNOW someone was there. When my relief can in at 6 am, I asked if she'd seen anything odd over night before. Described the same thing I had heard and seen that night. Door bell goes off, guy walks in to snack area, then just vanishes into thin air. Most exciting over night job I ever worked.

At some point, he took a break and came back. When he was sitting down, I could get a glimpse at a gun tugged in his belt. This was in a country where you can't legally own guns, at least things being very complicated and heavily restricted...

This isn’t really a scary story but it has to do with a fast food job I had long ago. It was at a Wendy’s and a young kid worked there, around 15-16 years old. He seemed nice but I was always leery of him because he gave me a bad vibe. Something about him wasn’t right, like he was pretending to be nice but wasn’t sincere. To make a long story short, he stole $200 from my purse so I called the cops. They questioned him and got him to confess and he agreed to pay me back but before he could, he murdered his grandparents for money to buy drugs. Turned out my bad feelings about him were 100% correct. Always listen to your instincts!

Wild boar can be aggressive if frightened.. 🐗🐗
@journeyrivenburgh10522 ай бұрын
I might have an idea as to what might have gone after the narrator of the first story: an american porcupine. It's possible that it appeared bigger in the dark, but they look huge, and they can weigh between 15-30lbs. They can be aggressive when cornered and chase after people stick them with their back quils. They can climb trees, and although they rarely bite, they can.
@jayedgerle3 жыл бұрын
In regards to the Trash Duty, I think I have a theory of what the creature was: it was quiet big, was jet black, had needle-like hair, a snout, flat teeth and squealed. Sounds like a wild pig, but the thing is they aren’t very good climbers. A pretty big one might be able to climb into a dumpster, but getting out might be quite the endeavor and very loud one at that. However, they are also not very picky about what they eat so garbage is definitely something they won’t pass up and can are pretty aggressive when they are threatened or stressed (e.g. when one gets trapped in dumpster while looking for food). Not a cryptid, but definitely just as dangerous as one.
