You didn't list the biggest source of blood sugar, insulin, and insulin resistance issues: dietary carbohydrates. Carbohydrates are literally just groups of sugar molecules stuck together in different arrangements. So, yes, the fastest way to elevate blood sugar and insulin resistance is to eat groups of sugar molecules that are bound together in different arrangements (a.k.a. carbs). This is a deeply unpopular reality but it just is what it is. The more carbs you eat per day, the worse your blood sugar and insulin levels will be. And it has a *_MASSIVE_* impact. If anyone has any doubts about this, all they need to do is wear a Continuous Glucose Monitor for a week. Unlike most people in the heakth and wellness field, CGMs don't have bias or agenda. They just report the facts. If you are eating over 50g total carbs per day, it is extremely likely that your diet is the main driver of your blood sugar and insulin issues.
