Here is the difference….women are helpers and supporters. What women expect and want in a relationship is secondary because it is the man who handles all the things that will make or break the relationship. Why do you dislike the word partner. I think its a good word. It suggests both parties involved have certain responsibilities and obligations that they must meet in order to have a successful 'partnership'.
@gold7077869 ай бұрын
It's a business term. It became popular/adopted in the media and with feminist groups so couples who are same sex are not laughed at when they refer to their spouse as a husband or wife . Marriage is not and never will be a business or partnership because resources will not be split 50/50 on dissolution and no business/partnership creates children that you can discard like a product or service.
@veronicatario77919 ай бұрын
He dislikes it because he’s been burnt and is a sad, old, bald fuck. The term partner, as far as relationships go, has grown into something much more than just a business term and one for the comfortability of same sec couples. A partner in a relationship is viewed as something even deeper than simply being a “husband” or a “wife.” Partnership implies “a supportive connection built on trust, admiration, and mutual respect. This comes from many relationship experts- who are both women AND men.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander. That may be true for geese. But people need to express who/what a gander is if this is used as a metaphor. Substitute man for goose, and men for gander and it works. Substitute person for goose and people for gander, it still works. Substitute man or woman for goose and people for gander and it works, but only to a point. it does not work for intersexual dynamics.

Women and men are so much different, right? So, why would you want them in your life so closely? That comes down do introducing a force into your life that is not compatibel with yourself. Havoc will be very probable. I split up from my ex-wife at the age of 36 spinning plates since then. I'm 59 now and haven't regretted it on day. My ex-wife and me raised our two daughters cooperatively as single parents. And the developped just fine. As to notch count: A high notch count with women as a rule of thumb is an indicator of a personality disorder (type B: narcissistic, histrionic, borderline, anti-social). On the upside these women are far more energetic, charismatic, dynamic, aventures, challenging, thriving. And most of all, they won't try to tie you down in a fixed relationship. But be prepared for some sort of heavy drama. You'd got to stand up to that! A very low notch count is usually also a sign of a personality disorder (type C: avoiding or generalized or compulsive personality disorder). These women will be downright boring and always try to tie you down. Type C in the North-American cultural context correlates with Jesus freakery. It doesn't exist anywhere else in the culturally christian world. All in all, in see no silver bullet approach when you're in the life phase pre-kids. Life is a metaphorical war. You can't escape it. PS: "Mama's baby, papa's maybe" (African proverb) PPS: Men are not inclined to lead that much in a relationship, because in the first place they don't want relationships that much. Men are inclined towards guarding their freedom besides banging. It must be really tormenting women that attraction for them translates into the wish for coupling up and he has so little drive for it even though the attraction from his side, too is there.

Don’t you yourself preach to men to be competent and resourceful in these skills, I am not sure if the career can fully define someone’s entire value as a whole at least not for men, but I do agree that guys don’t give a crap about women’s academic achievements. I know some high profile guy for example who’s wife cheated on him with an electrician and the difference in their jobs was quite substantial, i.e. the electrician was much more low profile job compared to the other guy that seemingly had more power and influence but his wife didn’t seem to give a shit and still cheated on him with the trades guy, I don’t know if there is a correlation there but job status don’t seem apply in every scenario
