Hi Queen, just subscribed to your KZbin channel. I love your work. I used to live in St. Louis so I am quite intrigued by your work. I have told my St Louis friends to subscribe to your wonderful channel. Two things: 1) Where did you get the large triangle obelisks? 2) How can we send you a small gift? I noticed other gardeners on KZbin get cute little gifts from viewers and you are worthy of this too. I would like to send you something and hopefully you have a PO Box as I don’t subscribe to or engage with other social media.

Fridge! (I should have said not to freeze them) But in that fridge the freezer temp is separate from the fridge! It all depends on the type of bulbs! These will be in here for 13 weeks! But follow along I got you covered you will be a pro at bulbs in containers! ♥️

Could you say something about snow? While some plants need to overwinter in the cold, how do you deal with heavy snow? Do you move items that may have snow falling on them from the roof or a large tree? Do you put pots in certain areas due to the snow? We are in north Idaho, zone 4 and it can get really cold and 12" of snow overnight isn't surprising. Thanks. I've learned so much from you already.
@GardenQueen2 ай бұрын
Great Point that will be covered in later videos! I will say this when it snows I do not pull tulip bulbs inside! I let them get snow on them. What zone are you in!
@gingerdorrity35272 ай бұрын
@@GardenQueen Double whammy. First, I'm in zone 4. Second, we have a lot of deer and tulips are deer candy. As are roses and a lot more. I have to choose wisely and hide what I can. Lavender and others are deer resistant, but will heavy snow crush them?
@GardenQueen2 ай бұрын
I can see where those could present as challenges! I'm originally from up North where we get Lake Effect Snow ❄ So I really grew up experiencing snow that would make you feel like you were buried in! Deer ... Squirrels ... Rabbit... Mice... Voles... the can go on can totally present a challenge to starting Tulips in containers for sure! I feel your pain♥️
