The key to falling asleep quickly is to not think anything about the current day, next day, any past or future. Your mind should be clear. Literally, no thinking. I listen to meditation music for just 20 minutes and follow along with the instructions. Earlier it used to take me 1-3 hours in bed to go to sleep. All because of overthinking and fantasies. Since I started this meditation routine, the max time I've been awake after lying into bed is 30 minutes.

@@sonalverma9490 I do this meditation in evening, in bed. Most of the time I fall asleep during these 20 minutes. Other times, I'm in the zone and i can barely think anything which leads me to sleep easily.
@AdilParray2 жыл бұрын
@@Dr.Souravagrawal Of course it will. You're training your mind to literally do nothing for 20 minutes. People in India are not trained for that. We always have something to "overthink" about. When you start learning meditation, your brain is trying to accustom to something new, that's why it's diffi for first few days... Even a week. The trick is to continue despite that.

Appreciate the effort this guy puts in. All his videos are informative and I don't see any fault in them. On that note I have been working in night shift from past 10 years and I still find it hard to have a good sleep because of the sleep cycle. I try to stay fit but I think I lack sleep most of the days. I wish if there was a video for people working night shifts because I think 60% people working in metropolitan cities are working in night shifts. If you can find the time to make a video about us that would be much appreciated.

Listening to KZbin helps me fall asleep. Clean comedians, soft spoken light topics, etc. help me forget my worries and fall asleep. I generally go to bed pretty soon after dinner and some tv because if I stay up much later I’ll get a second wind and that will make it very hard to go to sleep. I also have split sleep where I wake up in the middle of the night, make coffee, do a few things to get ready for work then go back to bed and nap until the alarm goes off. A friend of mine has insomnia so bad his night is a series of naps.
